Best day of the week to go?

Are weekdays better than weekends? Do sales usually happen during the week? Does it really just depend on the outlet?

I like to go during the week because it's much less crowded, or right at opening on either weekend day. As for the sale times, I never really know what is on sale until I get there. Apparently I prefer to shop alone!!

Markdowns normally occur on Thursdays.. if that helps any.

I like to go Wednesdays b/c the outlets are always dead. I didn't know that they marked things down on Thursdays though. Thanks.

I didn't know things were marked down on Thursday's either! Often times they have new floorsets out on Fridays so if I know about them in advance I go Friday evening after class (6 pm). Weekends are always busier than weekdays and I prefer to have the store to myself lol. I typically go just a few hours before they close and leave at least a half hour before they close.

I was told about the markdowns being on Thursday when I talked to the outlet about the sales and they said they normally have markdowns occur on Thursdays however this doesn't always apply to bags that are transfers from other stores as those bags might not qualify for that Thursday's markdowns. I get the impression there are style markdowns, as opposed to general markdowns on what they have on the shelves.

I was told that the outlets normally start new sales on Thursdays so those seem like the best days to go. I think they get stock in all the time so I wouldn't judge by a day that you think they get new stock in.

I don't like going to mine on the weekend because they are too busy so it is harder to get the attention of the SA's. When I go during the week, I get better customer service regarding specific items I am looking for.
