Any thoughts on this auction? I'm new to Coach. TIA!!!
I probably wouldn't buy an item over $20 or so from someone with zero feedback. Just my opinion, good luck!

They both look authentic to me! The first looks like a better deal, btw.

Is this for real? I'm not looking to buy it, I just saw a girl walking around my mall with one and I never knew they made a "shorter" version of the large C gallery tote.

Default Is this seller legit?

Has anyone ever bought a bag from this seller? She looks good (100% feedback) but her pic is of a stock photo so I just wanted to make sure.

With regards to the gallery tote, I say ask for more pictures, too. It looks real from what we can see, but I'd like to see the sides and a closeup of the handles with the tassles.

As for the auction with the stock photo, I would email the seller and ask if she has any pictures of the actual bag in her possession. Because she has pretty good feedback, I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but certainly don't bid until she sends pics. I think some sellers don't realize that people want to see the pic of the actual bag, not just the nicest pic they can find. I've asked sellers for this before and they've all been very accomodating.

I saw this bag in a store years ago, I think it's probably genuine. Her story adds up, too, even though it's weird that it doesn't have the outlet stamp. I'd ask for more in-focus pictures (these are quite blurry, no?) to be sure, like a closup of the outside patch, the dogleash clasps on the straps and the zippers. Coach hardware often gets faked badly.

Question Re: Authenticate This! Coach

What do you all think of this auction? I haven't been familiar with Coach long enough to know if this bag looks genuine. Thanks

I found this bag in an archive of Coach's website, it retailed for $328, and while I think her's is probably authentic, I'd like to see more pictures to be sure. I've attached the one from the Coach archive.

Wow, how do you get to an archive of the Coach website?

This is the reply I got from my email to the seller asking where she purchased the bag and asking her to show more pics:

This message was sent while the listing was active.
jojovsgoodies is the seller.

It was purchased at Macys, the handbag pictured is the same bag being sold. It does not have an outside pocket and I will post an interior photo on Monday- thanks!

http://web.archive.org

You search for www.coach.com, and you can access archived copies of the Coach website dating from 1 year ago and back (Coach limits the archive from displaying anything more recent, probably to avoid people stealing the pictures for auctions and such). If you're looking at a bag that's at least a year old on eBay, it's a great tool. It can be a little tricky to load the pages with the bags, since their site structure makes the menus point to the current coach.com, not the archive. If you click on the "show all handbags" like that's usually on the front page that will take you to the archive. This bag was for sale in April of last year, that's the archive I found it in.
