okay... so I bid on a bag last week, before I found THIS site and learned a boat load of great info.... I refuse to pay for it, the seller still claims that it is authentic. I say noooo it isn't. I thought i would bring it here and see what the experts think...

Can anyone offer an opinion on this one? I have never seen this bag IRL, is the lining really purple-ish? I think the creed and the rest of the bag looks ok but wanted another opinion. TIA!

For the most part you aren't going to find many authentic bags on craigslist. Two of those listings look pretty good but it's nearly impossible to say for sure without seeing more photos.

No, that's not authentic. Don't pay for it! The signature fabric looks really bad and the trim looks like pleather. And, like you said, the drilldown photo is for a leather duffle. I am so glad you posted here before you paid!

It looks good to me! I've never seen the lining in this bag, but that purple color is TDF!!

Hello! I haven't posted here in quite a while.
I just won this duffle on eBay, but am wondering...what do you all think about it? This seller seems to sell AUTHENTIC Coach bags, but what tha heck do they DO with them...drag them behind their car??!?! It seems that lots (almost all) of the bags, completed & active, are dirty or have been "cleaned". So...my question is: do you think this bag looks GOOD? Should I go ahead and pay and risk it or what??

My cousin got a Coach purse as a present. It was supposedly a Carly like this (but not the one pictured). It had brown satin lining with the "COACH" letters in the box like many of the real purses I've owned having.

My question for anyone who knows is have Carly's come out with this kind of lining? The price tags (which in my opinion looked good) were still attached too. The box even looked good. However, I have suspicions that it's fake. There was nothing glaringly obvious (i.e. symmetry and placing seemed ok), but I just got this *feel*. All I can go on is the Coach lining. Can anyone give me their opinion? I wanted to take a pic, but I didn't want to be too obvious about it since she was really happy with the present, so unfortunately that's all the description I can give. Just curious. Thanks!

I'm not an expert by any means and if I had to give an opinion, I would say that the purse looks ok...HOWEVER, the seller DOES have a fake purse in one of her listings. The pink one I saw is VERY fake. I'm not sure what else to offer, but I thought I'd point that out. Hopefully some of the experts can weigh in soon. Good luck! :)

Hi, I'm not an expert either but I do know that Signature bags NEVER have signature lining. So if she has a signature bag with signature lining then its a fake.
