I agree with Kezza....that's a horrible fake! And it looks like someone ended up paying $300 for it .

I said that I would never buy another Coach bag off of Bay again after purchasing a backpack from a seller that "guaranteed authenticity" on it and had perfect feedback....well you know what I'm going to say. I found out that the bag was a fake and I won't even begin to get into how mad I was. This was back in 2000 and I have kept that promise but now I might break it after seeing this bag:

Does anyone know if they have seen this at any of the Coach outlets? I know it retailed for $1900.00 and I was hoping I could find it for less. Did they ever sell it in black? I know they sold it in blue but I just wanted to make sure.

As far as I know, the Coach ipod nano cases aren't faked, but the seller said this was purchased by "Coach wholesale," which, what is that??

I would stay away. I've never seen a metal coach tab hanging from the cicrles, they're always the leather ones...and, if they're gonna take pics, why wouldn't they pake pics of the serial number? Something rubs me the wrong way with this...I saw a white one similar to this at the Leesburg coach outlet (I almost bought it too and now kinda wish I had lol, it was the perfect white bag!) hope I helped!

Question Re: Authenticate This! Coach

I'm not even sure I like this bag, but was wondering if you all think it's fake? I have never seen this one

2 answers --
1 - not sure about the python satchel, but it looks right and coach does use metal hangtags sometimes, my store-bought legacy duffle came with one.
2 - that patchwork looks way off, i'd stay away from it.

That patchwork is a terrible fake...it doesn't even have the patchwork on both sides!

I know - I get so angry now, seeing all the fakes. Before I discovered Purse Forum, I had no idea how bad it was on eBay and other places. Now I'm having lots of fun "fakespotting".

I actually think that the bag looks really good. I own the same bag in black leather and have done some comparisons. What convinces me the most about this bags authenticity is its stitching and the way that the two front pockets slant down in the front. These are details which are commonly overlooked by fakes. Hope this helps.

Hi ladies..

first time here in the coach forum and I was hoping for some of your lovely expertise..

I would love to buy this for my sister, do you think its real?? after about two months I am confident enough with Chloes and balenciagas but not so much with the coach goodies.

cheers
A.
