The bag is used and not new, so I would ask for pictures of any wear or stains, just to be sure you're getting something as good as new. But, yeah, the 6 feedback is iffy, but I figure that even legit sellers have to start somewhere, and I think her pictures look like the real thing. Ask about those "minor signs of wear" she mentioned in the listing, but all signs point to legit.

This won't really help with eBay auctions, but if you see the bag up close in person, one of the ways to tell is by the Coach tag. The four numbers on the coach tag should match the four numbers on the patch inside the bag.

I sell Coach at Macys and we get alot of ticket switchers, and I dunno, thought that would be helpful.

I'm guessing they try and put authentic tags on fake bags hoping people dont know the numbers should match (?)

Nishi,

I believe that the bag you are looking at is real. I own it in black. The reason for the recent receipt of purchase could be that the purse was bought and then returned. By the time it was returned, it was out of season and had to be placed on sale. The second buyer was perhaps at the right place at the right time. Just a thought.

I would be cautious on eBay though. I bought a Gucci on ebay and it turned out to be fake. Now...I have decided to never buy a bag off of ebay again. It is worth the extra money to me to guarantee authenticity.

If it is real, I am hoping to buy it for my mom as a present. She loves her bags as much as I do now, lol... it's my fault.

I also don't recognize that style. Plus, I would have expected it to have signature lining, maybe, since it's plain on the outside. I'm not an expert, though. Hopefully someone else will jump in...

Beware of this one, no returns??? hello thats not allowed. And she doesn't even list the item number.

Also that number on number does not pull up anything on Coachs' drilldown. I would say its a fake.

Thanks Kiari!

dawny_r - I have never seen that style either and like Pursefanatic85 said, COACH boxes dont look like that. I dont know, maybe its vintage and their boxes used to look like that but I would still beware.

Not all COACH's that lack signature on the outside have the signature lining. For example, most Daphnes have plain satin/fabric lining and my nylon white/chocolate satchel has brown fabric lining. Kind of sucks, lol :/

Thanks Abandonedimages. I didn't realize that about the signature lining. I'm surprised that the Daphnes don't have it!
