Allen TX Outlet Open!

Did anyone stop by this weekend? If so, what do you remember seeing?

Lots and lots of the factory stuff marked down 20-40%, pink scarf print -just a few - 50% off, no Legacy nuthin'. Still had some of the Chelsea leather satchels and such but not much of the mineral color left. Some denim patchwork items including a few medium Carlys. There were some really good deals on french wallets, the scarves were getting really thin unless they had some more to put out on the floor. That's all I can remember off the top of my head - if there was something in particular you were thinking of let me know and I'll try to remember. Gets harder and harder!!

I was just out in the Allen area for vacation last week and was able to stop by the Coach outlet. It's such a nice and huge store. Definitely a lot bigger than the two Coach outlets that I frequent here in CA. Also, the SAs at the Allen outlet were very friendly and knowledgeable, at least the 2 - 3 SAs that I chatted with. I managed to purchase the medium sized Heritage Stripe tote in the geranium color for only $124.99! The small zip satchel in the geranium color was on sale for about $149.99 but I opted for the tote instead since I wanted a true shoulder bag.

I can't wait for the HS totes with the leather handles to start showing up at the outlets! I already have one but I need one for a Christmas present too....hopefully the timing works out and they get deleted from the boutique by then.

Anyone been here lately? This is the lone, closest outlet to me (3 hours away!). I'm hoping for Leighs or Francines. I'll call them during the week when they're less busy to see what keycharms/fobs they have.

I called them yesterday and they "said" that they didn't have and were not getting any of the skull fobs. Also asked the SA if they had any Leighs or Legacy Shoulder bags and was told no. I don't know how much faith to put in the answers as I had called earlier in the week asking about Leigh and was told not in stock and not coming in, but yesterday they said that they'd had some earlier but they were gone now.

So, I don't know!!! Who do ya believe? I'm in FW so it's over an hour to Allen - I don't mind the drive if I actually have a clue as to what's there! I guess it all depends on who you get on the phone - I did get lucky last month and got the teal Legacy Shoulder Bag held for me until my DH could run over there on his lunch hour later that day.

Has anybody actually been over there this weekend??

Why don't you try doing a charge-send from Allen? Supposedly you can order items at another outlet -like San Marcos- and have it sent to you if you go to the outlet in person and give them your CC info. I haven't tried it with Allen, but they should do it.

I haven't been there this wknd, but I think I might go in later this week. I'm limiting my trips anymore, esp. with the recent hurricane fuel spike since it is about 30 min + away for me.

Thanks for sharing with us what you know. Some outlets are very inconsistent when giving answers. There's a list that you can put your name on for something and they'd call you when they get some but this list is unreliable a lot of times too as a lot of members never get the call but instead show up and see the bag they want there or see someone else from here getting it at the same outlet they placed their name on the list. It's a hit or miss ultimately I guess. I wish you luck with what you're looking for! You're closer to it than I am and I won't even think of making the trip unless I have a charge hold there!

The San Marcus outlet told me that they won't ship from one outlet to another...in Texas. So I assumed that meant no mdse sent directly to the customer, unless it is retail price.

I have been itching to go see what Allen has in right now. Would love it if there were legacy bags...I hope this lack of stock is because they are new. I really hope their inventory becomes as wide as San Marcus.

I went in to check out the 50% off sale today (which is off some bags)- tons of new stuff, but it's changing fast.

Yes the Madeline were 50% off. It might be a good time for you to make the trip! It should be only 2.5 hrs from OU, and you'd get to see the new floorset this wknd.

They also had the peace keychain in crystal also (the big one). The rest was the usual stuff I see when I go in so I didn't note it. They will have new stuff by the wknd Im sure.
