so for the patent there is 11009 (big hobo that I ordered), 11012 and 11016 (both of which are $398, what's the difference in them sizewise?), who knew!

Apparently 11016 is a wrong #. I called the 800 number yesterday on my way to the store to make my PCE pre-order. 11016 didn't come up as anything, but 11012 came up as the patent ergo tote. In the store though, she couldn't get 11012 to go through. So, she called whoever they call and will get it worked out for me as it is available.

Ok so I found out that I CAN order both the bag and the french wallet. YAY!

Here's the new problem though... I called the outlet near me and the haven't had any and probably won't get any. They did however locate one for me in Barstow, CA. I called and they have it on hold for me, but my friend in LA can't get out there till next weekend. So now that I know how much it is at the outlet, it's hard to pay almost twice as much at the store (and that's after the PCE!)... what to do, what to do!

^^^^ How much do you love the bag and are you willing to pay retail/25% off retail for it?

Since the outlet near you won't get it and the outlet where it's on hold won't hold for too long, you may loose your chance to get it at the outlet for the big discount.

I do completely understand hating to pay even 25% off retail when you know your dream bag is floating around out there for much less.

Are there any other bags you could love as much? Could you bear losing this one, but perhaps finding it later on (I've had that happen to me at outlets - I've passed up a bag only to find it many months later).

I hope this is somewhat helpful and not making you more confused! LOL!

Okay, this takes ALOT OF CONVINCING, but if you can work your skills, it'll happen.

I had this similar problem back in April. They have a policy where they can ship from shop to shop.
They can also ship it to your house, but unlike with Coach Boutique the outlets cannot take your order over the phone they can CHARGE HOLD it for you. You have to go into an outlet (same chain) and show them your cc/ID. then they will fax the info to the outlet that has your bag. And bam! you get your bag.

Like I said I had this problem back in April. The back I wanted was at the Chelsea premium outlet in CA. The closest Chelsea premium outlet to me was in Leesburg, VA. 5 hours away, so I made the drive to order the bag, and what do you know they got a return in of the same bag I wanted so I didn't have to wait.

Hope this made sense.

I just ordered and I'm so excited! I ordered the large Carly in khaki/saddle for MOI and the matching sort-of wristlet (she said it was larger than the normal one), a medium one for my friend, same color, and the parchment swingpack for my niece's birthday! I was going to order an agenda but I didn't like the punch 3x 5 one and the more I thought about it I decided to wait until I get to the outlets! I think I'm going to use it once and then put it away for after summer. :)

I just received an automated call. The store they told me to go to isn't even the one I've most frequently visited so I'm a little confused. But I'm going to go in and see what the SA tells me. They can't call and then refuse a discount, right?! Because I'd be sad! lol

I called to add that bag to my preorder and they told me they didn't have anything to match that number.
Then she called the 888 number and found that the bag does exist BUT she said I would have to order it directly thru Coach myself. She told me I couldn't order it with my PCE! And it comes in mahagony too, which is the color I wanted.

Did the store order the bag for you? Any suggestions?
