Their process of picking who gets these darn things is def askew!
I too called my store to ask if they could check the database to see if I was to get one (and should be on the lookout). They told me this was not possible. Whatever! Then why do they sometimes call me in advance to let me know? Then why do they tell me that the coupon itself isn't necessary, as long as they can pull it up by my name (my hub did this at xmas time when he shopped for me).

I can't decide if they're 1) full of it or 2) uninformed or 3) a bit of both.

Coach doesn't seem to have a handle on this process and they have a very poor data management system as evidenced by all the errors TPF'ers are seeing. How can you be on a list that is supposedly sent only to Outlet Shoppers to entice them to shop at Boutiques if you've NEVER shopped at an outlet store - shouldn't be possible if data is handled correctly. It's just totally random - I've been buying Coach for years and never got a PCE card at all and since I heard about the PCE, I now ask my SA to please give me the discount (they can do that - I've been in about 6 stores during PCE's now and they all have a card by the cash register they can scan - the cards are not one-time scan). I've also used a card bought on eBay and had no issues at all. I'm very annoyed by their inability/desire to take care of long time customers who spend serious bucks with them, and am now buying most of my bags at the outlet stores for about half off or more!

I'm on the east coast & seem to get them late, like the day before PCE starts. So maybe they actually send the west coast out first since it takes longer to get there?

if you read the previous PCE threads, you'll see that after xmas PCE, they changed the way they handle it. Most stores will not/cannot look people up to see if they get it. They physically need the card and will not give it back. It's probably a corp. decision.

That reminds me, the last time I shopped at the Outlet I noticed they got my email address, and I NEVER GAVE IT TO THEM! That was really weird and unusual. And if I recall correctly, I never gave the Boutique my email address either, strange!

Im on the east coast and I got mine today! I havent been to the outlets in a long time so Im not so sure this is a PCE that is aimed at outlet shoppers

i got one =) this is my 2nd one.. the weirdest thing is i bought twice from coach outlet in the states and they have been sending me the coupon things. i bought two wallets from coach stores recently in canada but it says on the mail it was sent from usa. i used the 50 dollars off 150 recently since a friend gave me it.

I haven't received one. If this is aimed at the Outlet shoppers, I feel I should have gotten one. I have spent approximately $900 (which is quite a bit to me) at the Outlets since February (3 trips total). If this continues (me not receiving any of the promotions), I will definitely take the majority of my business elsewhere. They should be including loyal customers to keep them coming in. I didn't get the $50 off coupon and didn't get this PCE card. The last 2 bags I have purchased weren't Coach (LV and L.A.M.B.). Maybe I'm just too sensitive, but I feel it's a slam and since I already buy quite a bit at the Botique, they (Coach) don't feel the need to include the "faithful customers", seems they think we will continue to buy no matter if they include us or not. Sorry, rant is done!!!

On a happier note, my Godson's girlfriend just called and she received the PCE (she bought one $100 dollar purse at the outlet and it's the only Coach purchase she has made at an outlet, go figure!) and she isn't going to use it and she offered it to me. That's really sweet of her. Looks like I may have to get another goodie for my RAOK buddy!!!! A little gift for my Godson's girlfriend would be good too, she turns 21 next weekend!!!!

I received my first one yesterday. I've been to the outlet once (most purchases have been in dept. stores) and just recently signed up at coach.com for their email list. So I'm not sure why I got one but I am very happy that I did. This will be my first PCE..when is the best time to go (on the 17th or wait closer to the 27th)?

Congrats! Usually it is very busy on the 1st day of event. If you want to void the crowd, not suggest go on the 1st day. The next Monday or Tuesday will be easier.
My girl friend got the card two days ago and there's still nothing in my mail box. I guess I won't be getting one this time AGAIN!!!
