Default i know this has been asked already

but.... i did a search and i couldn't find the answer

sooo here's my dilemna,
i bought the hamptons turnlock french purse with my PCE, initially bought the mahogany, then exchanged it for the gold. i'm not liking the size/bulkiness of it, so today i went into the local boutique and they had only one left of the slim envelope style#6k10 in gold...

obviously i can't get a PCE discount on it.

sooo would i be able to return my turnlock french purse (with no receipt) and get the full price merchandise credit for it??

the thing is, i already bought the slim envelope today (as they only had one left).

what are my options? i want to minimize forking out any more cash (cuz the husband is on patrol )

any ideas???

Would i even be able to return for full price merch credit given that it shows on my account that i bought the french purse with PCE??
Also, does it matter that i already exchanged it and now i'm returning it??

Yes you can exchange it without recept and get full credit, it's the same thing as getting the new one on discount. I would take your new one in with the receipt and tell them you want to exchange it.. have them refund you the money and use the credit from the first one to pay for the new one.. did that make sense?

won't they ask me for my name when i'm exchanging/returning without the receipt? won't they check their computer and see that i bought the first one at a discount and now i'm trying to get a full merchandise credit for it??

I would not return without the receipt to get full credit for something that you got on PCE discount. You should return with your receipt and get what you paid for it. You will have to pay the full price for the Slim envelope wallet. You can always ask your SA if they will give you the slim wallet with the discount but that is at their discretion.

I say return it without the receipt...maybe you could have your friend/sister return it or you yourself could return it claiming to be a gift. I dont think you're doing anything egregious.
