Since 2005 I have gotten and used my PCEs. I didn't get this one time around. I am in my store weekly with my Mom and while I don't always purchase items, I do make purchases both large and small at regular price. I rarely shop the outlets (maybe three times since 2005) as I hate the drive out there. Several of the SAs and the manager know my Mom and I by name and the style of bags we like. The manager, the week before PCE started even asked if I received my card, I hadn't, she even mentioned that they would be making their calls that week. And typically I use the same SA each time I make a purchase.

Well no card here, but my friend got one. She made ONE purchase (swing-pack and mini-skinny) LAST summer (with a card I had given her) so she gave me hers.

Well, when I went into the store to make my choice, there were a bunch of SAs I had never seen before. I finally got one to help me. I had to *find* an SA, usually they come to me.

It was a weird situation all around, and I will be mentioning it to the manager next time I see her.

I had a great day we went down to Lynnwood Washington to the coach store. As soon as I walked into the store The SA said Hi Joanne I think you want to see me....I got the bleeker sig flap in white I loved the rose colour but I thought I would be limited in what I wear.She also adjusted the price on the Keri sunglasses I paid 218.00 in hawaii they were 168.00 she also gave me PCE in them. The PCE card she used looked like it had been used a lot.I think anybody even asking would get it.......... So I now have my own personal SA............ On the way down to Lynnwood we stopped at the Seattle premium outlet mall the Coach store had some really good deals lots of bags with markdowns of 20,30. & 40 % off. I bought a wristlet for $39.00........... I have to put myself on a purse & shopping ban we have bought a new house .I we will be buying some new furniture & putting in a suite. I was a bit surprised this week... no PCE card for me this month. This is despite having spent literally +$2.5K between my two local Coach stores since December through February. The store manager at one store last month even helped me look through the new items in the catalog to plan out my purchases for the PCE - March event. I'm going to give this particular store manager a call tomorrow as the Coach SA that I just spoke with stated that I'm not flagged as a PCE customer, this despite my having received the regular PCE invites for the past year or so

I think PCE is total bull on how they "decide".

I got one this year, and maybe purchsed like 2 things?

And that was months and months ago. I am not a frequent buyer... IDK maybe that's why I got one? But I didn't use it.



I just think they need to rethink their deciding factors for the people that are avid Coach shoppers and spend lots of money with them and get thier facts straight and not be soo scatter brained about it?

I like how that Coach store isn't very crowded and the SAs are nice and helpful. The only bad thing is that the store is kind of small (Roosevelt Field Coach has a bigger selection). Nice little place, though!

it's totally random. i got one for the first time this year and i bought one small wristlet in may. and that's probably the first time i had ever bought something from a coach retail store.

Coach really needs to get it together. It really seems like the PCE is quite random. They should focus more on their frequent customers and make sure that THEY are getting the PCE cards.



Expy you are right to be upset about it. I think I would be highly pissed if I spent $2.5k in Coach over that period of time and then didn't get one.

Thank you for your support, Nathansgirl! The store manager was able to procure an extra PCE card for me this time around, as a special favor, but who knows what's going to happen for future PCEs. With the econcomy slowing down here in the US, I'm hearing that quite a few retailers are closing down their less profitable stores and doing away with certain discount programs. Perhaps this is what Coach is doing... issuing a much more limited quantity of the PCE discount cards so that they can make larger profit margins off their regular priced sales.

This is a very interesting thread. I have not bought a ton of coach in the past few years and my purchases have been small (mostly wristlets or keyrings). I know we usually buy in the fall at an outlet in NY and then sometimes in December/January at an outlet in the caribbean. I cant even remember the last time I purchased anything at a store. But, my mom almost always gets a PCE card. I got beautiful sunglasses last week and love them but we usually let a neighbor use our PCE card (someone from my family will go to the store with her). I would really be interested in knowing how we receive it and wish I could give all of the non recipients a card in the future.
