Default How does one qualify for PCE and what exactly is PCE?

Is it spending a dollar amount or how often one shops at Coach? Does outlet shopping count toward PCE? How about ordering directly from Coach/Jax?

TIA. I used to buy Coach in the 80s when all they sold was leather, classic bags, so I'm not really up on what's going on now.

I'm bumping this up.

15 people have viewed this, but no one can tell me how PCE works or how one qualifies for it? Is it too hard to explain?

There is actually no explanation. I believe is ramdom. SA's just to call their customers and offer them the PCE disccount even if they didnt get a card but now its getting harder I think. They say the PCE cards are sent ramdonly to all Coach customers. I have never gotten one, one time I used my husband CC to pay for something and then I got a card under his name.

Some people bought only one item during the last year and yet received a PCE card for every single time they were given. Others, less fortunate, have spent thousands of dollars during the same year and got nothing.

There have been a lot of posts on this if you just search through some of the threads in this subforum (PCE). Basically though, there doesn't seem to be a real rhyme or reason to it. Most people that get it seem to shop frequently at the same boutique and have an SA that they often work with. But then some people get it who barely buy anything at all. And there are also some that spend a ton of money and never get a PCE.

They just had a PCE for outlet customers to shop at the boutiques, but I don't think they do a lot of those. And no, ordering through JAX does not count as far as I know (unless you order through your boutique). HTH!

Thanks for the responses. How much is the discount with PCE? I think when I used to shop occasionally at a Coach outlet in the 90s, I remember getting postcards in the mail, but I don't remember it being an "event." It was just 10% off or something like that--and only at the outlet.

I've bought a couple of things recently from the Legacy boutique in NYC, but not big ticket items, so I was just wondering how it works. Sounds like it's completely random, and not very fair.

Also, thanks FG, I'll do a search, too, for more info.
