it would be worth a shot definitely and if not i'd go to the store where u have the best relationship with and see if they can do anything for you.

another thing to keep in mind is that it is super important to have the right info in the system and to keep it updated, both email, phone number as well as address.

Glad it will all work out for you. Unfortunately, these days, there is inconsistencies every where with every company. Not to turn this thread down a different road, but I had the same problem with hotel chain the other day. My boss had booked a hotel room and was told she would receive her confirmation number in her email and never did. I called the hotel's main line to try to track down the information and this nasty woman started yelling at me that it was my own fault that I lost the number and there was no way to look it up. I hug up, took a breather and called back. The next operator found the information I needed within seconds. Sometimes it just pays to take a breather and attempt to speak to someone else!

That is awful!! Sorry you were treated sooo poorly when you were just trying to correct their gap in service.

I don't know what the heck is going on. It seems like in this economy companies would be more accomodating or at the very least make sure that their employees are projecting their corporate image. I doubt that their brand is meant to stand for "rudeness" or "unhelpfullness"!

I went to a Coach store today to inqure about the new Exotic Maggie. I have a PCE card and wanted to order the new Maggie since it seems like many TPFers have pre-ordered them with their PCE. So when I went to the store to ask, the first SA didn't even know about the new Maggies; so then she asked her supervisor/manager (I assume), and she didn't even know about it either. To make a long story short, she said that I can't use my PCE card to pre-order the Exotic Maggie because it comes out in October and you cannot special order items for the PCE. The discount only applies to items already in store and in stock!!! I'm so bummed. And there are a limited number os Exotic Maggies, and she didn't even know if her store was going to receive any. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? BTW I'm in Canada. TIA!!!

^^ That's not true.. I know some Tpfer here were able to order the exotic maggie with PCE.. You might want to copy down the style number and the color and bring it to the store.. They would have it in their Special Order binder.. as for the Exotic maggie, only some slected store are getting them.. there are 69 left in INK and around 300 for the black.. there were 200 were made in Ink and 1000 are make in black..

Not sure where you are in Canada but I'm in Ontario and I went to the Square One location a week ago and was told that they could order the exotic Maggie for me then I just happened to be in Yorkdale Mall and asked there as well if they could order it with my PCE and was told the same thing you were!! I would have just gone back to Square One to order the exotic Maggie except I saw the metallic Maggie in gunmetal and fell in love with that one so I got to pre-order her instead.

Another fine example of Coach not following its own rules. We keep hearing they are clamping down. If they are, the rules should apply across the board.

I think it would help if you give them the style number and color code. That's what I did when I ordered pre-ordered the Amethyst Audrey w/PCE. Good luck! Don't give up!

Back before Leah debuted, i had a PCE and the girl at my boutique told me the same thing. Only on available stock in store. I asked her to show me where it said that on the card. Of course she couldnt. I called JAX and complained and they ordered over the phone and did overnite for free and applied the 25% off. So it can be done.

I agree, once again Coach not following rules across the board.

i was going to order an audrey today & i was turned down by 2 boutiques saying they couldnt order it because it's not release yet...& i'm from canada too, i went to the 2 locations in downtown vancouver, will try another location tomorrow

I just went to my store today and ordered the limited edition Audrey with no problem. Call customer service and complain and see if they can get he regional manager or something to call the store manager.

i too went yesterday and ordered audrey...it shows up in their system. stores should be gettting it next week actually...my store showed 2 "on the way"... my sa had 18 boxes in the back she needs to open. she even offered to open some of the boxes to check for me so I could take the bag home last night...but i told her no

I was lucky enough to get a PCE, but not lucky enough to use it.

I didn't get a chance to go to Coach until Friday night, knowing that I was leaving town for the weekend and wouldn't get to use my PCE otherwise. I wanted only the new Madison Covertible Hobo, but was told the same thing...only items in store, and I wouldn't even be able to call in an order if I changed my mind over the weekend about something that was in-store.

I don't understand why Coach would rather have me walk out disgruntled and empty-handed, than sell me a $300 handbag now. Even if I still want the Convertible Hobo after it comes out on the 25th, I won't buy it full price because I don't need a new handbag...I want one!

Clearly, we aren't really Preferred Customers...wish I had known earlier to complain to JAX.
