I am not a fan of the daffodil at all either, so I'm biased. But I think the height itself makes such a big statement, anything on top of that is just too much. It's too much of a statement shoe - it's gaudy.
I agree these are trendy, but the more I look at em the more I like em.
Depending on the pairing, I think it wont be gaudy???
Wish they were going for a lower price!
I am really lost as to how those are "Trendy". What trend does it represent? I love them, but I personally wouldn't buy them for no more than maybe $1,500 because I know I wouldn't wear them much, but I also feel like they are actually easy to wear. A simple white t-shirt, cigarette jeans, maybe even a solid color blazer? Yes! Less is more with these shoes. If you truly love them, without any doubt, I say go for them! If you know you will question yourself afterwards, then don't even think about it. Good Luck
I like them. Very edgy but classic at the same time. But I don't think I could spend the money of them. Everyone is different. You need to think if you're buying them because you fell in love with them, how often will you wear them vs the amount spent on them, etc. I don't think anyone should spend more than retail price for a pair of shoes.
I always say, sleep on it, if you dream about them, go for it. If not, they probably weren't meant for you anyways.
If you're asking me, I think they're gaudy to be honest. I don't care for them, and if I saw a woman in these shoes, I would not take a second look either. Give the shoes to me for free and I wouldn't be caught wearing them; instead I'll sell them off on eBay LOL
Then again it's all about you, if you love them, that's all that matters.
