20,000 shoes could have sold for $18 million, that amount seemed WAY off then i did the math and its only $900 a shoe? Kind of high for fakes but geez thats ripping people off of a lot of money, good thing they caught them!

haha, I did the math too and I laughed out when it came out to that much per pair too! I guess one can argue that he said "they COULD" have sold for that much...

I also wanted to see how "good" of a fake they were... Too bad there's no pic, cuz I"m pretty sure the guy has no idea what "good" quality means.

Anyhow, counterfeit = BAD!

haha yeah they were probably "good" fakes as long as they had a red sole... oh and of course the "card of authenticity" ahhaha

I love those on ebay. because clearly, CL's always have cards of authenticity.

well... at least 50% of these styles don't even exist...

and I think one pair is trying to mimick another brand.... namely Charlotte Olympia's leopard Bebels...

So besides the red sole, there's a LOT to be told

some very unhappy buyers thinking they were getting the real mccoy

WOW. Those are nasty looking. Thanks for sharing those links. I'm glad they caught these people, even if it only makes a tiny dent in counterfeit sales.
