I was told they were running a little short, so I could see needing to go up a 1/2 size.

Well, I fully agree. I sized all the way down to a 37 in the multicolor glitter simples (all of my other simples are a 38!!), and there is STILL a tiny bit of room in the heel. Totally whacked out sizing haha. I tried on the anthracite glitter Lady Lynch and the 37 (I'm pretty sure), fit best... may have been the 37.5, but the 38 was for sure way too big on me. So insane.

For me Biancas ran somewhat TTS but they were still a tad big. 1/2 size down was way too small for me so once I put foot pads in they fit perfectly

Okay ladies, need your help here. I'm in Australia with no access to the nude VPs, though I've managed to track down a couple of sizes in the US. For background, I'm a 39.5 in NPs, Decolettes and Clichys. I'm a 39 in the Pigalle, and I had to size up to a 40 for the Jolie Noued slides. The nude VPs are available in a 39.5 nude/nude combination and a 39 nude/deep red combination. I've been reading that the new season VPs are running very large, so I'm not sure which shoe to go for - the 39.5 is my normal size, but being as I'm in Australia, if it's the wrong fit it won't exactly be easy to return it. I've tried a 39 in the NPs and while the toe box fit, the insole length is a whisper too short.

So ... I'm confused! But I desperately want these shoes - what would you advise?

Maybe you can measure your shoes and get the insole measurement, then have them confirm the insole measurements on the VPs that are available. With the new sizing, it would be difficult to know. Normally, you'd have a better of idea of sizing, but now it will be much harder to figure out.

My nude VPs (this past year) are a 39.5 but in decolettes or clichys I'd be a 40. I am a 39.5 in NPs. Not much help, sorry!

Zahra: I would probably go with the 39s base on the shoes you have listed. If you are still unsure I would take the 39.5 because at least the would fit and you can add pads to it.

Oh forgot to add the this thread might get on confusing if we doing all use a standard sizing (ie: everything based on you cl size or us size).

This makes me sad to read this. Being a size 34 there is nowhere for me to "size down" to. Sadness! :-(

I think because it is looking like this Fall is all out of whack compared to past sizing standards? So, a separate regrouping???

buuuuut now we have 2 sizing threads. . . shouldn't we keep them together?
I promise, I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand!

^ From a newbie/lurker's POV, it's helpful to have all of the sizing information together for reference. However, that may also be a little bit deceiving as the sizing for this season is so different from previous seasons. It helps to mark this season out as 'unique' so that new posters don't get confused

I mean. . . we have 2 sizing threads now Just seems this will be hard to find if not merged into the existing one. Do we need to release the sticky? The point of that was to keep all the sizing questions and updates in one thread.

We need 2 sizing threads. One for past seasons and one for fall/winter 09/10 and on. Sizing has been radically changed. If they're all in one thread it'll be difficult to decipher which season it's from. Plus we have a lot of newbies asking sizing in new threads because they don't know there is a sizing thread in the reference library
