Beautiful additions, Leda! I love those Bibas! And a 2 year black shoe ban - you don't mess around!

Love the Yasmines, too - I wanted them when the first popped up on BlueFly but they didn't have them in my size - then I saw your outfit pic with them a couple weeks later, and it reminded me of how much I loved them. Went back to BlueFly to check and they had them - I credit them all to you!!!!

So hopefully from the title you gather that I will start my own collection thread. I have been collecting for about 2 1/2 years and my collection is a bit modest compared to others but I typically take a long time to make a purchase. I am in love with the Pigalle style its by far my favorite, I even dream about this shoe! My recent impulse purchase is what led me to start this thread, in addition I probably (cross-fingers) wont be purchasing new pairs\styles for quite a while. I am not on a ban just focused on completing my "supposedly well rounded" collection by just adding 2-3 more pairs this year even if that means I need to SO.

For now I will just be putting my recent new addition and adding more of the singles in the collection until I manage to take a group shot of all the shoes! Just taking a group shot of 7 pairs was pretty tedious boy how do you ladies do it

Without further chatter, introducing these amazing Roccia Python Pigalle 120s. Many of you have asked, and I quoted possibly a wrong value, but they retail for $925. I love this pair and had to cancel another CL order to be able to get it.

meggyg8r and techie81 thank you!

natassha I felt the same way when I opened the Biba box. You just made me remember I havent worn the python pigalles for a month or so. I need to take them out soon.

jh4200 thanks, yes I hope to be back on the black shoe ban but I will not let it stop me from getting a shoe on my short list. Like I did earlier this year with the Cabarets and regretted it. The Green on the Yasmines
are such a lovely addition to any shoe collection. I am glad you found a pair! I am a BlueFly stalker... haha

leda--I am loving your new additions! It took some time, but collections such as yours have inspired me to lay off the neutrals (nude and black) and basics and get more feminine styles in colorful satins and suedes.

thanks Lav! You know, I guess I always picked feminine and dressier styles for most of my CLs since I figured that if I had some decolletes, yoyos and a pair of boots I would be set forever with a few basic styles and that I didnt need anymore. On the otherhand at some point I think I will be needing a few more basics in the long term just not any time soon!

I have been working on my bedroom the last month and decided to place my 'special' shoes and clutches right across from my bed so I could see them first thing in the morning, to the chagrin of my husband. I have a 'closet' room but sometimes it becomes a guest room if our second guest room is taken and well that wont do to be deprived of easy access to my shoes .. They are all so happy they are out of their boxes!

I wanted to share with you all my shoe storage solution. Its not huge and wont accomodate more than 30-35 pairs but in all honesty I am not planning to exceed that quota any time soon. As you can see I still have some work in the room like adding some window coverings!

thanks Babypie speaking of art there was an incredible deal of painting going on

carlinha I really disliked that after CL number 10 it was pretty much an ordeal finding a pair even though all the boxes were labeled. When I see them like this everyday it makes me appreciate them more and possibly quite likely to buy less or be more selective.
