Leda, I'm trying to figure out the correct pronunciation for Decollete. Is this file still loaded?

"De col tey" is what it sounded like to me on Leda's file. I have a hard time hearing the files though.

the files should still be loaded and its sounds like what noah8077 says, which is also the same way you would pronounce and spell the decollete top of a dress.

Haha, I usually wonder myself. I always put a french flair on the names, because I minored in french in college and it's just what comes to my mind first. I usually tone it down when I speak to salespeople though because almost all of them Americanize the pronounciation. Thanks for the verification, leda!

I pronounce them "Lew-beh-TEN". I wanted to e-jot this, and now I will go back through the entire thread to see of I'm right or not.

(This is like a quiz-answer first, then find the correct answer)

According to le Monsieur himself, he says it twice-he slowed it down, then said it regularly. I've been pronouncing it correctly then. (relief sigh)

Completely OT but re: the Oprah video....what is the name of the HOT Mary Jane-style shoes with the gorgeous web-like design on the toes, exactly 25 seconds into the video??

Hi - I speak French, but I always thought the Drapiday and Drapinight styles were named in English. I assumed Drapidays were for days and Drapinights were for nights!

If you were to pronounce it in French, it would be something like:

Drapp-e-dai
(roll your r, emphasize the p - I believe - French is not my first language though!)
