I know how you feel HLFINN!. I went in circles when I called Saks NYC. The operator transferred me to the shoe salon. THe shoe salon transferred me back to the operator, and the operator transferred me back to the shoe salon and the shoe salon transferred me back to the operator and the operator......for at least 15 times. I got fed up and hung up...and then called again and the same thing happened!!!! and then again and it happend again ... LOL
I guess I was determined to get my shoes! |

^^^ This is EXACTLY what's been happening to me. THEN I called Dallas and they were like "Oh, well we don't have the SKU for that, try calling NYC" OMG I CANNOT WIN!!!

LOL even the SAs from other stores say that NYC tends to not fill locator orders...which SUCKS when they are the only ones that have tons of what you want...but when you call, no one helps you so you're f'ed unless you live in NYC and go in and demand their help. :/ a;skdfj;alkjsfd

I think all SA's are like that...everytime I call in for something I want I'm told to come in! I'm like dood...I live across the country, I cant come in. They always have no idea what i'm talking about...put me on hold...or i just get hung up on.
So now I started using my mom's SA in NY, she works in the make up section but she finds everything for me and makes sure I get them. Only thing is since I'm ordering from a store I have to pay shipping soo I have to be sure I want the item before I ask her to look for it. |

you ladies should try calling the barney's in sf - ask for either adrian or carlos, they're both super helpful and they'll be pretty diligent in tracking things down - adrian was the one who found my camouflage pigalles when i thought the entire system was sold out, and carlos is the one who got me my privatita's shipped direct

Speaking of NYC Saks!! I just got off the phone with CS. I ordered the Sometimes and Eliza by J Choo on Friday and had them over nighted to me for an extra $25. Well, they do not know where the order is. POOF! Gone, just like that!
![]() How can you charge one’s card and then mysteriously loose the goods? AND then, not have any more of the shoe to send me replacements!!! I don’t know what’s going to happen to this order but it really does stink and I definitely won’t order from that SA again. I shouldn’t say that, they haven’t talked to him yet so I don’t know if it’s his fault or not yet nor do I know they are truly lost or hopeless but it sure sounds like it.

Just an update on my whole fiasco. My SA was not to blame on the mysterious dissaperance of my shoes. It was the shipping, he says. Ryan, my SA said he took them to shipping and doesn't know what happened to them after that. Well after being on the phone with Saks ALL day long and I mean all day, I didn't get my beloved 'Sometimes'.
Mr. Karbley, I hope you are reading this as there are a pair, in my size, in your Boston store on hold by an SA. I called and an SA told me that another SA had them there on the hold rack, Jossey the NYC director calls and POOF, they're gone not two minutes later. It's not fair to have things on hold especially when you have a paying customer in the wings. I wish I would have gotten names. I will call back tomorrow to try and get these. I would buy them on on ebay but I have more dignity than that. They are more than double the sales price and are even more than the regular price. I am so livid right now about the situation that I cannot even be pissed anymore if that makes since. Jossey did give me 30% off the black Very Noeuds which is nothing to sneeze at because they will never go on sale but that was not what I needed as I already have a pair of Satin Prives. Oh well, take what I can get I guess. Sucks not living in NYC anymore. |

I don't think you should blame an SA for putting a shoe on hold. They have to do what they can for a customer, and the whole point of putting a shoe on hold is so that no one else can buy them. I'm sorry you couldn't get your shoes, but I would be really upset if I expected a shoe to be on hold for me and found out that the SA gave them to the first person willing to pay.

BTW, I am also vouching for Sunshine at Saks NY. He was so sweet, was willing to do a search for me, and called me back right when he said he would. The other people at the store constantly put me on hold when I asked them if they would find a shoe for me.

I just got charged $136 for shipping to Australia by Barneys Vegas, but Barneys Dallas charged me $40 the day after.
