^ I agree.
I find their shoes run all over the place. It depends on the style. I don't think they run true to size because I have never been a 6 1/2" and in some of their models I am and in others a 5 1/2". |

Luckily the leather versions are very easy to stretch, as my shoemaker taught me; soak a pair of thin nylon socks in water, squeeze until most water is drained out, put the socks on and the shoes too, and wear them for a couple of hours.
Repeat if necessary.

I'm an 8 wide. Since no cute shoes come in wide sizes I wear an 8.5 US size.
In Jimmy Choo pointy toe pumps (the Eleven and Heidi) I take a 39. In CL it depends on the shoe. It seems that patent runs really small. In regular leather Miss Marples I wear 38.5. In the Iowa Zeppa (no platform peeptoe patent maryjane) I ordered a 39 but really needed a 39.5. I had them stretched but patent doesn't stretch well. I just got the Decolette 868 platform in patent today. I ordered a full size up 39.5 and they fit perfectly. I think it just depends on the style, the width of your foot and the material the shoe is made of. |

They absolutely do NOT run TTS. I normally wear a 39.5, but in Louboutins I wear a 40.5! That's an entire size difference.

I just bought the patent pumps and I had to get a 10! They were crazy narrow. I'm a 9 in Pradas and Manolos, an 8.5 in American shoes, a 9.5 in Choos, and I have flat feet.

Ordinary leather stretches about half a size I guess, but suede can easily stretch a full size when wearing the shoes. |

Can someone help me with the sizing for the Mouche? I heard they run half a size small. (I am a 39 in the Very Prives, true to size for me.) Should I get a 39 or 39.5 for the Mouche? Thanks!

Would anyone also be familiar with the sizing for the Moonbows? Are they true to size?

If you're a 39 in the Very Prive, best to go with 38.5 in the Mouche, trust me on that one....b/c compared to the Prive, the Mouche runs big!
Moonbow on the other hand runs small, by at least 1/2 a size (or a full size for the larger sizes). |

Should we start a new thread about the CL sizing? Since they @ CL doesn't seem to get their size standards defined. The Purse Forum CL shoe size chart or something?
![]() So everyone tells their true shoe size first, and lists all their CL models and sizes? |

That would be a good idea! We can all share info about the sizing, comfort level and if adding inserts is necessary, etc. |
