hmmmm... that's a hard decision madame! i have yet to get my first chanel! (but trust me, i'm working on it!) i'm not big on totes myself, but would i like duke's bellevue... would it "bother" you to have 2 caviars?

let us know what you end up doing sumn!

Hmmm, Liza, love the black, classic. With red, hmmm. Not sure I'm fussde on the idea of a patent GST. I love the fuschia better than red anyway. Maybe a lamb jumbo? ghw or shw?

It'll either be the 10C red caviar shw jumbo or the 10cred patent shw GST

madamelizaking, I really love the Jumbo flap. It's spacious and always a classic. Caviar is wayyy more durable than lambskin. RED is such a hot color for a hot mommy!!(I happen to have a red jumbo on my shopping list too!)

As for the GST, your frame is small right? I'm also kind of small, 5'3", 95 lbs. I had the GST in Black Caviar with SHW and I sold it immediately after buying it. The chains on the straps made the bag very heavy feeling on my shoulders..and the straps kept slipping off. Also, the size of the bag looked overwhelming on my body...and I was discussing this with other tPFers, but the bag isn't ergonomic! It doesn't sit comfortably on the shoulders if you're petite, and it doesn't close on the top so if you have the bag sitting in the passenger seat..one hard brake in the car and the bag topples over and the contents spill out...

I'm sure you have cut arms from carrying DD but having to carry DD and a heavy bag is just grueling.

..I don't know how you feel about patent, but I always thought patent bags look a bit plastic-y. The caviar/lambskin etc looks more luxe to me.

I know, that is exactly how I feel miss b! They look just like the other Claude booties except they are yummy suede. I am already considering planning a work outfit around them for tomorrow!
