I know! - I hate not having peripheral vision. AND stylish glasses are just not meant for me. My lenses are so thick that they practically touch my eyeballs, so I need ones with nose pads, which are usually not very stylish

I only wear mascara if I'm going out for something special - Diorshow, which helps a lot but it always ends up bleeding if I wear it for too long.

^^ lol stylish glasses are not for me either. I have those "emo" style nerd frames because the lenses are so thick and i can't wear wire frames even with the lightweight lenses and all that other jazz.

ive heard to try diorshow but i have just given up on eyelashes period... ill wear fake ones occasionally but they never stay on and are so hard to get on in the first place.

Gotta love our Asian genes...short and thin eyelashes here as well, but better than my mom's, who had almost none (and had permanent eyeliner tattooed to make up for it).

Diorshow is fantastic, moshi! I haven't gone back to any other brands.

I'm leaving after I get a couple minor projects out of the way. Hopefully before 5!

lol darn those asian genes! well that's 2 for diorshow and thats not included all the other rave reviews ive read... maybe ill try it out.

Stupid Asian genes indeed! - and better than not having eyebrows, too - my grandmother's was so thin that she tattooed those lol

Hey ladies! Just a quick hello before I head into my next meeting.
I'm not Asian but my eyelashes are so sad. I like to have fun with mascara though. I love to wear Dior Show in Electric Blue! I hope to get my vision fixed next year and do away with glasses and lenses. I've totally had it with them both.

Techie, please see a doc. It's probably nothing, but Jet needs to be sure.

i am positively salivating over those brogues. sea of shoes and her mum's blog have totally inspired me to buy some brogues and i've been searching for the perfect ones!!

i didn't get the job i went for yesterday but i'm not disappointed because it would've been over an hour travel time each way and it wasn't a good fit. but i thought i blew the interview and they thought i did fabulous. so hopefully today's interview (which i REALLY WANT) i think went really well so maybe i blew it outta the water??

steve just found out that they aren't continuing chemotherapy on his grandpa and they don't expect him to last out July. it's really sad, he's never lost a family member before (sadly something i'm pretty familiar with! aunts, grandma etc) and i just feel awful for him. plus his grandfather is such a cool guy!!! it's really a tragedy. but he's in his mid 80s so he's lived a long happy life, been married to his wife for over 65 years and he's met his grandchildren. but it's still a loss nonetheless!

I've never met anyone else with the same prescription, haha.

Sara, It's really sad this is happening.
Yaya, it sounds amazing.. but I would be too afraid to try it. Luckily, I have not really any issues with my eyelashes. I use Chanel Inimitable as mascara and it's by far the best mascara I've ever had

Well, I've had a chat with my family about this whole situation with college and we decided that it's best for me to go ahead and do something else. This has been going on for 2 years and I'm having a lot of issues with my health due to the stress this is bringing I decided to still make the last 2 tests because I want to show that I will hold on until the end, no matter what. That's a big plus to me

Now off to bed, I'm really exhausted.. Hope you wonderful ladies all are doing okay

i don't even know what it's like to not need glasses to see. can't eeven read my nightstand clock without contacts

i'm so sad right now. just got an email that U2 opened their new 360-degree tour tonight in barcelona. my son is there working on the tour. he's was one of the film editors for the U23D movie, so i'm not sure what work he's doing for the tour, but probably filming it. the sad thing is that i don't know. he still hasn't contacted me since the wedding. he's in spain and i have no idea what he's doing, how he's doing, or what he thinks about the tour. we used to email back and forth constantly when he was working on the film. he was so excited and i loved hearing his excitement. now ... nothing. i have the biggest hole in my heart right now. i'm sure the opening was fabulous. i would just love to hear his voice.
