Stella, My collection started with two also. All we ca do is just take it a pair (or two) at a time...I'm actually a serious amateur compared to some of the ladies on the forum...Ashakes...Natassha...and many more

I have the tiniest closet ever so...
I have lined my hallway between my living room and bedroom with shelving. I just stack them there in their boxes. I've recently taken individual photos (which I hope to post soon) to put on the boxes. I used to have my shoes out on display, but I simply didn't want them to get ruined with dust or whatever.

It truly is! The shelving idea sounds very practical. I may consider it although I am not sure that I want all my shoes on display so that my SO and anyone else seeing exactly how many pairs I have, they may want to committ me. SO likes to live clutter free so thankfully we don't have a lot of other stuff around, shoe boxes and bicycles are our biggest storage problem.

I try to send all my boots and other winter shoes to storage in the spring/summer time but that doesn't really help much.

Kamilla I soooo know what you mean about everyone knowing how many you have Perhaps covered shelves... more like a wall unit with sliding doors (tastefully done, of course).

Are you and avid bike rider? My husband has really gotten into it in the past year or so. We're up to three bikes now, but luckily, our building has a bike room. Of course, I always worry they'll get stolen somehow.

We have a storage unit too, but it's so hard to get over there!
I don't have any CL boots yet, so...that's a future issue for me.
