Leanbeanee hi!!!!!!!! Black - I have no idea - it was bizarre!! Mind you I should have been prepared - honestly if I'd have gone to the wedding armed with a whole load of Spanx I'd have made a fortune!! Why is it that people just must squeeze into a dress thats at least one size too small!! Ivory satin, and tight - and not sylph-like - its quite horrific!!!

Marriages can be so funny!!
Sorry, I was just having a look.... also if I'm not allowed, since I'm still a baby in her 30's.... (34 are nearer 30 rather than 40... correct? )

I can imagine!! I think it would have been ok - but the bride had ivory and the bridesmaid had black - and they both had at least a size too small on!!! Spanx would have worked wonders!!! They were like a UK size 18 squeezed into a 14/16 - and it looked

Trust me leanbeanee - the more time you have, the less you do!! You should see my ironing pile!! Its walking - out the door.............my daughter drives me nuts - she just keeps buying more and more clothes! I don't know how many things she wears in a day..........its mad - when you work, you have to organise and make sure you use your time wisely - when you don't you just 'put off'!

Seriously??? My parents would have freaked! Good on you for doing what you want! My parents felt that my wedding was their reward for raising me. I have a friend who's getting married this weekend. She wanted to wear jeans - white - to her own wedding coz she's a bit of a tomboy. Her family won't have none of it...she's going to be wearing a white dress with pink flowers...couldn't get more girlie!

Hi Lescoy how's my Scottish friend? You girls have no idea, since I retired I have never been busier, people assume I have more available time including dear heart so I get all the crap jobs plus my home has become a boarding house for anyone that wants a feed, they won't go home either. Seriously I love it and am just grateful I have been able to retire, mind you I worked hard when I did work and it's true I was better orginaised plus I had help with cleaning and ironing. Still waiting for my rouge chloe hope she is not lost. welcome back Lescoy

I'm glad to be back!!

Yes - its true definitely was more organised when I worked. Thing is that seems a lifetime ago. I did work about 3 years ago, for a manic boss who was a complete lunatic. Mad as a hatter - very very hard going with him - he did have one saving grace, he did have a good heart - but I was working all hours, bringing work home and it really just wasn't worth it. So I said thats enough - and don't intend to do it ever again! So home I am - and although it does get lonely some days - the PF makes it bearable!!
