Just when I figured the hoopla was over! Have to go to the hospital for a bone biopsy on Friday! Then I get to play the waiting game again! How wonderful!

I can't get any of these people I work with to cover that day for me. I may end up having to work that evening, not sure if I could drive. I tell you this job is soon to be shoved!

It is traumatic turning 56 and realizing your life sucks. Well enough of that.
I am upset because the dolt I work with won't give me Friday off to have my bone biopsy. She says I need to reschedule to suit her. It is not a drs. appt and not something happening on a whim! It is a 7am hospital appt where I will be sedated while they remove marrow from my arm. She told me I had to find someone to cover for me and all the women I work with have various excuses as to why they can't help. It is a minimum wage job that is part time and she acts like it is such an important position. Heck even H got the day off to go with me. I don't believe this woman. She can get off her bum and sit in customer service for those 6 hours if she has to!

second: what a effing idiot! just call sick on the day and stuff her. sorry but your health comes first and it isn't like i has to be done when it suits her, it has to be done when the doctors order it!
muggles, i am sorry you have to go through this again so close to your bday but remember you have a huge group of bag addicts that care for you and will have you on their thoughts.

I just think it is bad enough you have to have something like this done and then the idiot you work for makes it worse by saying it is inconvenient for her, reschedule. And worse find someone to cover for you like it was some life or death position. I have one more lady to ask and I know she will say no too! Then I will email boss lady back and inform her and if I get any more flack I will tell the big boss. If they want to fire me they can and I will get unemployment because it would be a wrongful termination.

My boss has been a bitch today and I finally got fed up being treated like a little kid who got caught coloring on the wall. I forwarded all her emails to the big boss who wants to talk with me tomorrow before work, where she can't see us. Ta da the plot thickens!

Hope it all works out with the biopsy. I agree with the girls, your entitled to a sick day and shouldnt have to find a person to cover you, thats your boss's job. The NERVE !!!
Just would like to see her try to fire you for that appt with your doctors certificate in your clutches for a biopsy.
