Well it's winter here too but central heating helps. Taj is curled up at my feet on a soft rug quite content. Was'nt that a great price for the Dior?

Unfortunately this is our summer! Horrible!! I think I've had my central heating on every day and night! Its really pitiful - the sun is trying to shine right now - but its only half-hearted.

The Dior was - quite simply - 'a steal'!!! Have you received it yet, or is it enroute??

Danger time!!!!

My tutor on a software training course (accidentally - haha) showed me photos of the 2 British Shorthair kittens that she was about to acquire. (Oh so cute - like mad wee lilac teddy bears).

http://www.rayanshel.50megs.com/photo2.html

These come in at approx £400 per tiny puss. ..... but my current Shorthair is a bit of a risk, as he is addicted to sitting in bags, so maybe I should resist. (Luckily he really prefers paper carriers.)

What is the average cost of a decent but non-show quality baby Bengal (and can you guarantee that they are not bag livers?

Thanks

In Australia they cost $1000.00 to $1200.00 for a Bengal pet. They love anything you own.

It's on route but he sends things quickly so I might receive it tomorrow. He is searching for a matching wallet now. I think I'll have to hide this one for awhile. Ha Ha I just love the colour and unlike my L.V. Speedy it has a reinforced botton so won't sag. He is normally very good on prices I never pay what he advertises and postage is normally included. He has a few chloe's at the moment. It's a family business with his Father running the main shop. I want to go to Hong Kong soon and check it all out. I keep saying this but it will happen. I'll meet you there.

Ok, so you may receive your Dior. Well - when you next speak with Harry, I'd like one of those reinforced bottoms - so it will stop any sagging!!!

Hong Kong? Ah, a friend from school is an architect there! He is colour blind - so don't worry about the colours eh!!!??

Cute!!!!!

Bengal kittens - here in the UK you will be looking at £400 upwards. I haven't seen less than that - well I probably have, but you want one which has been carefully brought up and fully vaccinated etc., so I'd say £400 upwards. May also depend a bit on the colour - the brown spotted ones are generally less than the snows, and if you then want to go for a silver they are more expensive. My Bengal doesn't like living in bags! Beds yes - bags not really.

I'd be careful if you are thinking British shorthair - some of them have odd temperaments. Depends on the lines - but then it is the same for most breeds - that is why its important to choose the breeder carefully.

I'm 18 mts. shy of my 40th, might I qualify as a junior member? Pretty please???

Throughout my teens, 20's and early 30's I never owned any "premier" designer bags. But then I found tPF in March '07, bought my first Chloe and now there's no turning back!

I'm currently loving these bags in my collection: Nappa/Signature Fendi Spy (my current favorite!), Blanc lambskin Chloe Patsy tote, and my Chocolate Chloe front-pocket Paddy. Waiting in the wings: Rouge Chloe classic Paddy satchel and Black Jimmy Choo Biker Ring hobo. BTW, the JC Ring can be converted to a messenger!

I'm not after any more new bags this year as I'm plenty satisfied and have placed myself on a ban in order to get my finances back in order. Once I've paid off my cc debt and I've saved enough cash, I wouldn't mind getting another Paddy, perhaps in blue, or maybe another Spy!

What do you mean 'odd temperament'?

My blue Cloud definitely thinks that he is a terrior and I respect that. He is competitive and bites sharply like a small dog. But then I am competitive and provocative myself. I think that we are competing to be leader of the pack! Cloud also sits by your feet and fetches his toy like a dog too.

I would indeed be careful about the source of a kitten and would make sure that I got a good taste of its character (and that of its parents) before I committed myself. To me, personality is infinitely more significant than looks.

Thanks for the Bengal info.

Whoops 'little sister' I am 44. It sounds like you have been extremely naughty recently. My Chloe binge hasn't been so bad with only 2 until this morning when I had a sudden Ollie impulse at LVR (70% off). My worst sins lie in the land of the Mulberry and recently with the dire Balenciaga addiction! I have heard someone liken them to heroine so I advise you not to dabble.

Oh goodness, I have had a discussion that is not about cats. I shock myself!

Pity they normalise a bit as they grow up. The kittens look so daft. I find them hilarious!

Thanks for the wise words, Big Sis Jenova! I checked out some Bbags at NM IRL and realized they weren't for me, thank goodness!
