Hi there - well I'm not sure how long the detachable strap for the Edith is - but it might go cross body, depending of course on the body!![]() What about the Paddington cross-body bag? Its quite cute - I haven't seen one for a wee while - but there must be one somewere. |

Sorry to go silent - Taj is adorable!!
I have reduced myself to 3 cats now (from my previous 6 - these are 2 moggies and a blue smoke British Blue). I adore Cloud the blue cat. He has a lot of character and behaves very much like a small dog. I was going to get another kitten this summer and had returned to my contemplation of Bengals. I am thwarted by the fact that I may have to go to work in Qatar for 3 weeks just at the wrong time (no kitten or contract at the moment). I couldn't leave it to bond with HIM only while I was away! I was also thinking of waiting for my oldest chap to pass on but have just been told that he might live to 21 because he is super fit even though he looks decrepid. What is Taj's personality like? I like the way his tag mirrors your lock. Can't you get one that colour coordinates better? |

Hi Jenova. You are just a small cat owner!! I used to show cats in a former life - and wow I had lots!! I now have 3, having just recently lost my 14 year old companion and friend. Just a point - he had been at the vet 3 weeks prior to his death and given a clean bill of health and the vet thought he was in great condition for his age, teeth included! Three weeks later he was dead. He had a PE and was hospitalised - no history of heart problems, but although they stabilised him he had another massive PE and despite everything - he died. I haven't been able to accept it. I had been thinking of having another kitten - as I knew I wouldn't have Viki forever - but this just knocked me for six. I have 2 mogs (rescued) and I have a snow leopard spotted Bengal. They are super cats my mogs are quiet and Louis the Bengal - well he is completely bonkers! They are a great breed of cat. I'd say to you to be very very careful where you look for one though if you decide to have one. I do know where there are kittens at the moment - all in England. They can be expensive - but they are worth it!

Thanks for all the cat info. If I don't have to go overseas I might come back to you over the Bengal kitten suppliers.
OTHER PEOPLE - DON'T READ FURTHER IF SQUEAMISH (NO REAL BAG CONTENT) My oldest cat is 17 and has already had a miraculous survival. March 2005 - coughing blood. Vet - thyroid trouble. Pills and better. May 2005 - poorly again. Vet - infection from fighting - couldn't find bite. Injection - bit better. 2 weeks later - abcess in middle of back. Vet - long piece grass in wound??? How did it get there? £400 op. Call from vet - grass came from inside. £600 op - 4 inch stick working way out from stomach, via lung, though back. True story - saw and measured stick. Think of how hard you would find even swallowing it. Cat lived with it inside for 3 months. Cat now 17!!! Ginger and white moggie -£10 in pet shop. Fighter so over 17 years has cost much more than all but the most expensive bags. Great pal - well worth it. BAG PEOPLE - SORRY FOR THIS - WON'T DO IT AGAIN. |

Yes - know how you feel - cats are true survivors - its amazing - they ask really for nothing other than food and love - but they bring so much into your life - nothing is too much to give them - their friendship repays you countless times over. Over the years I have had many cats - and each one of them has had a special place in my heart - I have such happy memories of them - but when they leave you - its the biggest heartbreak. ![]() I'd have paid thousands and thousands of pounds to have had my Viki back home with me in life - but the best I could do was to bring him home and give him a spot in the corner of my garden under a tree where he can have sunshine (when we have some) - and he can hear the birds sing - he knows we are here, I know where he is and I can and do talk to him every day. He has a beautiful small stonework owl who watches over him - he is at peace. I miss him

"Taj" was born in December so he is still a baby to us, he has a great personality, very sure of himself, affectionate and smoochey and loves to play all the time especially in water, any water. He is a male so he leans towards me as his best friend. We feel he is a great companion to our poodle "Amber".

Isn't it amazing what we are prepared to do for our animals. Many years ago we rescued a King Charles Cavalier from a breeder that was abrused. Over the years we had her she cost about $10,000.00 in Vet fees to deal with her problems. Yes she was worth every cent, she died of old age in peace and with love. You can't buy that sort of devotion.
