I definitely want a small/medium black Paraty. I can't decide between the original or the the one with the front pocket. Any advice?

I just got the medium black with the pocket in the front and I love it. The leather is beautiful. I use the pocket for my cell phone. So my vote goes for the Paraty with the pocket.

Isnt the leather on the Paraty with the pocket lambskin? It looks different than the original Paraty. I love both. I think the one with the pocket looks a little dressier.

It's true, the leather of the one with the pocket is lamb, it's thick ans soft and feels scrumptiously. But I like the simple one much better, I do not really like the look of the clasp and the triangular flap doesn't fit the curvy design of the Paraty. So my vote is for the plain one...

The small paraty without the pocket has such stiff leather! I was really disappointed when I saw it IRL. But the one with the pocket is so big. Guess it's just not meant to be for me.

Now, I am kind of leaning toward the Paraty with the pocket. The leather looks amazing and I kind of like the pocket. I would love to be able to see it in person, though. I may have to take a Chloe boutique trip or a trip to Neiman Marcus this weekend.

I also think the small/medium original Paraty is stiffer, less slouchier than the large. That was one of my main problems with it for me, other than it really is too small for me. Because the larger has more leather, it seems to have the sloucy look that I like on the Paraty. It is big, though. If you are not used to a big bag, the large Paraty may be overwhelming.

Over the weekend I saw the new Paraty's, the large with the pocket is gorgeous - the leather is incredible, and the look is so chic, and yes, the leather does have more slouch to it. I have the Old Pink and the Black Python in the original medium size, and the bag is larger than it appears in what it will hold, and it fits everything nicely (and I normally prefer larger bags)--but now I'm lusting after the large with the pocket in Poppy.

The only drawback is that it is a large bag, so unless you have lots to carry, maybe the medium with the pocket would be a better choice.

The small/medium Paraty with the pocket is the same size as the regular small/medium Paraty. You must be looking at the large Paraty with the pocket.

Once you see it IRL, you'll be hooked -- I think it's the quality of the lambskin---beautiful!!

it is very interesting to hear that, since i seem to like the original non-pocket Paraty better...
maybe you should get one and post comparison pics for the Chloe gang to issue a verdict on the new Paraty!

Saks doesn't have the large. I definitely need the bigger size. I think it may be Neiman's or boutique only. I wish Neiman's did sales.
