I'm new to the Chloe forum. I actually came in here looking for info on the Marcie, but I think I like the Paraty more; and especially if it looks like its coming out with silver hw. So, I will start saving my money for Spring. Are these heavy in nature?

OMG!! cant wait to see more photos of the silver paraty!!! should i wait for silver...or buy a paraty in gold now?!?!

Ladybug10 some ppl find the bags heavy because of the hardware but personally I don't. You should go try at thr boutique first and see how you like it.

Koalala it all depends on what you want more. If you want silver then I would wait, never substitute for what your heart desires because you'll end up kicking yourself in the butt later.

I saw on Saks that there is a new paraty colour called Brown Sugar.. is that correct? Would you have any photos? I'd love to see what the colour is really like! I find the photos Saks posts online are never really accurate enough to tell... Thanks!

I am wanting to get a Paraty very soon and I am also a silver hardware girl! However, I want a neutral like brown or grey - never black though - so does anyone know what colours will be our in 2013? I'd love silver but the bag colour itself is more important so if the bags with silver hardware are gonna be bright and crazy colours then I'll stick to the gold and get my Rock Paraty at Xmas.

I couldn't find the Bliss Paraty with silver hardware, maybe it had already sold out by the time I checked but Bliss is way too pale for me anyway, the colour transfer issue would make me so paranoid!

That red is stunning but again, not my colour. I am so dying for a gorgeous neutral like brown or grey to come out with silver hardware...but then my wallet will hate me! I am also loving new current Rock Paraty even with the gold.

I've also noticed that the silver is only available so far on US websites. Nowhere in the UK - at least online - is stocking any Paraty with silver! Very disappointing!

I love the rock paraty! But hang in there girl. The SH is so new right now I am sure they will eventually come out with more colours that you are looking for.

Especially with certain colors!

I used to be so super obsessed with Chloe a few years ago. In fact, my first high end designer bag was a black silverado hobo with gun metal (? it's a non shiny silver) hardware.
I've continued to like the styles that are coming out but for some reason they aren't making their bags with silver hardware options like they used to. That's why the brand appealed to me in the first plsce. Because of the shift to basically only GH, I've had to move on to other brands.

I was so excited to see this thread and I just looked at all the online retailers for Chloe.
I have to say, I was kind of disappointed! The color options with silver hardware did not appeal to me at all! I liked the orangey red paraty but I don't see myself buying a bag that color.
Why would they not have at least one neutral color with SH? Black, grey, heck, even a brown would be nice!
Is it too much to ask for a black or grey medium paraty with silver hardware?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. And also all the ones they do have with silver hardware that I have seen, the colour of the handles is different from the colour of the bag.

Yes, I noticed that too!
I just saw a small paraty with SH in a darker shade of red that was quite nice on HG bags. And the handles were the same color
So, maybe there's still hope, lol!

I think the Paraty's with different coloured handles are the Military Paraty, they have a shorter shoulder strap in a contrasting colour and there are many Military Paraty's with silver hardware. Unfortunately they don't appeal to me because of the shorter shoulder strap. The length of the strap on the standard Paraty is just perfect for me. I've seen the darker red standard Paraty with silver hardware, it's the only standard one I've seen so far with the silver! It's now available in the UK on MyTheresa but the colour just isn't me.

I adore my Black Fusain Paraty, despite the gold hardware. I prefer silver or rose gold but if I love a bag then I don't usually let the hardware put me off but then again, I adore my Balenciaga Giant City with silver hardware and would never have bought a Bal with gold hardware! For some reason, it wasn't as important when I got my Paraty. I haven't yet figured that out!
