I do not like that funky triangular pocket on the new Paraty's, so I vote for the original.

Well, as you know I got rid of my Ink Python because I was too afraid (and maybe falsely so) that it would be so easily damaged. And I only carried the silly thing once. I learned my lesson and will never buy python again. Too much money to sit in a dustbag.
The SA tried to convince me to get Milk Python, but that was a super scary thought - Milk AND Python - I would have been afraid to look at it or breathe on it!! I did just get a deerskin Milk Paraty and it is gorgeous, seriously gorgeous. For some reason I am fortunately not babying it like I was afraid I might, being a light colored bag. All of this to say, REALLY think about how Type A you are and if it will actually get the use you want! |

Thank you for the link. I really don't know why I couldn't find it.
I am so stumped on the paraty. Sometimes I think I have made up my mind to get one and then other times I think it is a big swerve. Probably if it were cheaper I wouldn't think about it so much. I'm not a a big fan of the polished/patent leather on this one (or generally). I am thinking it is such a classic that it is spoilt with the textured leather and the extra pocket. Phheeww I don't know if that helped you but it helped me. I feel a big relief not thinking about how many other bags I have to forgo to save up for this one! I hate being tied down! |

Hello. I recently bought the Chloe Saskia in metallic. Its GORGEOUS. LOVE IT! BUT, i noticed that only after using it a handful of times, the corners have a bit of rubbing where the metallic seems to be coming off! I am so afraid that this is just going to get worse. I take really good care of my bags and like them to last a long time. Does anyone know what I can use to protect the metallic leather? And also for waterproofing? Please any suggestions would be good. Maybe something i could order off the internet? I live in London by the way.
Thanks so much! I am too scared to carry it again until I find something! |

http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Handbags_Luggage.htm I'm also moving this Thread - to the Opinions/Advice Thread - as it would be more appropriate in there. |

I had a hard time contemplating which one to choose as well. I really wanted the python paraty in black too, but I ended up ordering the new pocket lambskin. My current black staple is my Chanel quilted flap bag. Since I already have a favorite black bag, I couldn't justify the $4k on a bag I might not get as much mileage from.
Let us know which one you end up getting! |

Was there ever a Paddington color named "Bois"? It looks like the muscade in a picture I saw of it.
