Does anyone have or have seen IRL the new Paddy with the shoulder strap? Also curious about F/W 09 color Tan - is it as mustardy as it looks online? I am HOOKED on this bag from Nordstrom's website.

Default How do you keep your wallet clean?
Hello. I just bought a Paraty wallet and authenticated on the ATC.

But now the problem I have is "How can I keep this wallet clean?"
I'm not a person who changes wallet often. So my wallet easily gets dirty I'm afraid.....

The color is CURCUMA, like curry yellow.
Outside is calfskin and the lining is lambskin.

I have a Collonil spray, Apple leather care and cleaner.
Do you think I can use any of them on the wallet?
Or should I buy something else just for the everyday use?

I'll appreciate any tips you have.
Thank you so much!

^ I'd follow the advice on the carecard and just dab any marks with a damp white cloth (or cotton wool) and then leave to air dry.

I think it's inevitable that it will get a bit grubby, in a colour like that, if you use it every day and there's really very little you can do about it, apart from being careful not to handle it with dirty hands, if at all possible.

Personally, I'd probably use a darker (black, or brown) wallet for every day use and only use that as a clutch (especially as it may well suffer from colour transfer, as well, if you use it in a black-lined bag and that's usually permanent).

No, I wouldn't pay that, especially as it's used - I think it should be less than half that.

Probably about $300 - $400 would be nearer the mark!

Thank you chloe! I agree... maybe I should get something darker color for the everyday use. Hope it won't turn me into a wallet collector..... bags are enough for me.

DON'T use apple cleaner!! A lot of people said that the cleaner is very harsh and may ruin your bag/wallet.. I've heard that apple leather care (the conditioner) is really good, but be sure to test it on a hidden area first! You could also try 'Apple rain and stain repellent', but try it on a hidden area too..

Thank you so much for the info. You've saved my wallet! I might be going to test Apple rain and stain repellent.

LOL! I am a bit of a wallet collector, TBH (or, I would be, if I could find more of the ones I'm looking for!).

You're right, it's a slippery slope!

No problem, BTW!

I haven't tried Apple, but I never find those rain and stain repellents work, personally.

Also, I'd wait until the leather really needs it before conditioning and even then, do your research on which products to use - don't do it just for the sake of it, as many leather experts say it can block the pores of the leather, destroy the fibres and attract and trap dirt...

I saw it yesterday, not the tan color one was noir and one creamy grey, but it's really chunky and leather seems much nicer than 2007 and 2008 paddies

strap is very wide, probably about 3 inches wide

I see.....I think you are right. Maybe leather doesn't need over protection after all. Thank you!

Does anyone know if Heloise came in a color called "Chestnut?" I saw a reference to such a color and a picture of a Heloise in a medium brown color and it looked divine. I looked on the "All About Heloise" thread and found no reference or picture of Chestnut. The color I am interested in is a medium, slightly cognac in tone brown.

Hi everyone,

Is Tan also known as chocolate in the Paraty (Large)?

Thanks!
