I am not really one for "whats in" if you like it buy it and enjoy it. Does it matter what others think if you like it or its not what everyone else is carrying? You have it now, enjoy it

I think the bag is great jrjs237! Congrats on your new purchase! You usually see lots of patent leather bags around in winter, they look nice against knits and things, I think you'll get lots of use out of it

Interesting. I bought a patent quilt bay last month and when I saw it, I thought it was for cold weather for some reasons.

I am on a ban, and I have already bought 2 bags recently but I am so on the edge of buying this:

Anyone with an Ethel have any comments on it? I would prefer it to be on sale but I might miss out if I dont go for it but then if I do it will be half price in no time. Not sure if its worth waiting or not.

^ Well 'mad' is part of your name but seriously they are two completely different looking bags so I would say go for it if you love that colour. I have a Bal raisin city and I frequently find myself drawn too other purple bags

As much as I love the prune saskia, I would treasure a prune heloise even more. So I say go for the heloise! They are so yummy! I think they might even be different shades too....

^^Yes, they do look ever so slightly different but i think that's a lot to do with the texture of the leather? Is it the large Heloise or a smaller one? I would go with Heloise over Saskia anyday - despite the fact that i really do like the Saskia and it's lightweight in comparison - i just prefer the Heloise style...Just keep both, you can never have too many purple bags....
