I have not bought a bag in ages and I have seen a leather purple Bay I love. Well I think I love it but its a good price so that might add to why I love it. Does anyone have a bay in this colour? What do you think of it, is it versatile and roomy?
I just dont know if I should take the plunge or not!

It's the purple quilted bay on the Outnet. I also haven't dealt with the Outnet before, what are they to deal with?

That's the same bag I have and its my most cherished chloe purple bag...its a true purple and its unbelievably stunning. I would NEVER sell it!!

The Outnet is the outlet site for net a porter so I'd imagine you'd get the same great service.

Get it and you won't regret it....that's if you truly love purple!

Here's a picture of mine along with my other quilted bay bags

That is gorgeous.
I am just hoping the service is as good as NAP.
I just placed the order and within a few mins they responded teling me they cannot send to my shipping address only my billing address because it's my first order but they can ship to a work address. The shipping address I gave them was my work address anyway. Also I had different billing and shipping addresses with NAP from my first order so I thought this would be the same. There might be a cc guardian angel after all because if they won't ship to my work I can't order because no one is at home to sign for it! :(

I hope I am not breaking any rules by asking this. I am considering this bag. It is a good price, but seems to have a few problem areas (as in wear). I am not questioning authenticity, just wondering if this bag could be easily repaired by a cobbler and made to look relatively new. Do you think this would be a good buy?

Again, if this is breaking the rules, please delete.

Good news, they cleared my shipping address. Received a call just then saying they apologised they didn't realise it was a corporate address and it is now processing.

Hi - I've dealt with The Outnet a few times - the customer service is excellent and the items come beautifully wrapped! If you don't like the bag you do have to pay for return postage thru an arranged courier but I doubt you will be doing that!! Congratulations! x

JSC56 - The damage - its fairly minimal in that its more cosmetic than anything else. I think that a good leather repairer would be able to work with this without too much difficulty.

Basically - the decision you need to make is whether you are happy with the price and condition at time of purchase and also have an idea what sort of price it might be to repair. I don't think it would be much TBH. I'd just take a look and see if you have a repairer locally who would be able to help. Failing that - you could take to a Chloe boutique and they would possibly be able to help. Only issue is they may ask for a receipt. TBH a good leather man would be able to help with this -

Hi has anyone bought from Link Removed - site not trusted before? The prices seem to be really too good to be true!! So now I'm questioning if the bags are authentic or not.

I would not trust a site like that at all. I also just did a quick search of the forums and it brings up negative responses. Definitely keep clear unless its a fake youre after.
