Yes!! I am always on the search for older style Chloe purses. And my wishing list only grows.

I would too - Id love a silverado. But only if I could find a store that had old stock. I am not one for risking second hand purchases so it means I dont really find what Im after too often.

I would too but the only way to find them is on fleabay ... just like you said one has always be careful because it is second hand .. but now and then you find an older brand new bag with tags boxed on fleabay also. I recently was lucky enough to purchase a 2005 MJ bag NWT and boxed at 1/4 of its original price!

Does anyone have any advice on looking after the leather on 1. Goatskin and 2. Buffalo leather? I was going to use waterproofer spray on them but I asked a cobbler in passing the other day and he said "no, no don't use waterproofer on the leather you might wreck them". The care instructions that come with most Chloe bags suggest that you waterproof regularly. So now I'm really confused!

I have treated chloe buffalo leather without any adverse effects. Actually used condition to buff out some scratch marks etc.

I know that someone on here had issues with their buffalo chloe getting stained - so I would think it would probably be a good idea to do preventative conditioning, etc just in case...

Goatskin - unsure....

It might have been me you were talking about there - my buffalo leather silverado got REALLY stained when I tried some leather moisturiser/cleaning stuff on it. My advice: waterproofing spray. I've used it on every one of my leather bags and never had a problem. The spray is too fine to stain the bag but it protects really well.
Goat leather I'd use the same thing on - waterproofing spray. I've used that on my old Bal twiggy and that's goat leather.

That's my 2 cents anyway, I've always been to scared to try any more conditioners after the silverado attempt!

Yes, I agree with BMB, I never put anything on my bags. Too afraid to screw something up. It would be devastating.

^^ There isn't any problem with using a product on Chloe leather, providing you use to correct product. I never used to use nourisher on my bags, but I noticed that sometimes they seemed a little dry - so I nourished one - and OMG - the difference - it was like a new bag. Now - I don't use my bags - but what I'd say is - if you think your bag needs a 'drink' then choose the correct product. If you are in doubt - then ask a professional - such as Barbara at LMB in the US - or in the UK you can contact - don't laugh -

http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Handbags_Luggage.htm

Their products have been used by several girls here - and they have been recommended.

I think its the old addage - if its not broken don't fix it - but it doesn't do any harm to nourish if its necessary.

Has the front pocket paraty replaced the regular non pocket paraty?

I've seen then both for sale but was wondering if that was due to a stock overlap?

Where this is heading - do you think if I am a good girl and save my money will I be able to buy a new small paraty without the front pocket - like in 6 months time!!!

I believe they are different, I have the Chestnut and it has pinker undertones, I think the Nutmeg has warmer undertones. Both are nice colors.

I have bought a few chloe bags but never registered them with Chloe. Should I do this? Does it make a difference?
