On the second bag, the colour is more varied because there is some space between the shells (as if the python was growing out of its skin..). I like the way the colour change, but wondering if the thin skin between the shells is very delicate?? Will the leather/skin more easily get teared/ripped? And what about the python shells, will they more easily fall off, curl etc? Is the leather of better quality when the shells are closer together, or is it just a matter of taste?

Maybe stupid questions, but would like to know before I take the plunge.. The price of the second bag (the one with the space..) is almost the double of the first one too. So hope some of you with experience with python leather can guide me on this Also, what are your opinions on how the leather on the python should be? I' ll post a couple of pics to just show what I mean (hope that is ok).
just before i answer what price are they ??? love them though you have to be careful with them

Thanks so much Lescoy - Brigitte contacted me and gave me some advice on what she did with her heloise, and I have also heard from chodessa... I intend to put on my surgeon gloves and do some very careful nip tuck of my own, hopefully in a few days, I'll try to document and photograph (fingers crossed a successful repair) - for any other unfortunates who find themselves in my position...

Misschbby, I've already chosen... I went for the one with shells close together. I think it looked better and might be of better quality/less vulnerable (although the colouring on the other one was nice).

Bought it from a lovely tpf'er - can't wait to get it!!

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking around for a while but have never posted.
Was wondering if anyone had opinions on the 'Nancy' with shoulder straps? Is this a sturdy bag? I too have had a heloise' issues. Would be interested in everyone's thoughts.
Happy weekend to all :)

Dear ladies
I am a newbie on this forum and am hoping to get a Chloe bag in a near future. I am thinking of a small silverado and would like to know the weight of this babe. Measurements and weight would be very much appreciated. I am after a light weight Chloe bag, not too big. Idea and suggestion would be great. Please help! Thank you in advance

Oh my! Python silverado!!! You have so many beautiful bags!!
Thank you bmb for the picture. How do you find the silverado compare to other Chloe bags? I am thinking of a small Silverado or a small Bay bag. Since you have several Chloes which one would you recommend as a first Chloe for a newbie please? (I like a light, medium size durable classic Chloe bag) Thank you in advance

the silverado is very light, i had a large OR one and that was still really light! its a classic chloe bag and a must in any chloe collection. i myself would love a small bay but wonder if this would be heavy?? i found the medium bay extreamly heavy!
i know the paddies are heavy but have you considered a baby paddy they are my fav chloe bag!

Paddy was the IT bag in 2004 right? I like the Paddy but I am worry that it would be heavy. How heavy is the baby Paddy compare to small Silverado bmb? Would you be able to give me their actual weight? My gorgeous MJ Blake is about 1.3 kg empty and I can't go shopping with it all day!

the paddy was realesed in 2005 and has been a IT bag till today IMO, they still sell it in a new range of colours and textures.
the baby paddy is cute i love them, but compared to a small silverado the silverado is lighter!
i struggle with heavy bags the baby paddy is good for shipping trips and so is the small silverado! both great bags!

Thank you bmb!
I will keep looking at ebay for the baby Paddy and a small silverado then. I like to have the 2005 Paddy though. Do the 2005 paddies look different from the later Paddies? Is it possible to tell if a Paddy is a 2005 release from the pictures only? 2005 paddies would have different serial number right? The ladies on here all say that the leather on the 2005 Paddy is TDF.

yes the 2005 paddies have better leather they are slightly different!
you can tell a 2005 paddy by its serial number and the thick slouchy leather!
ive had a few 05 paddies and they are the best IMO!!
