I would wait for the sales , though in Europe are poor sales if you compare them with US.

I am not in the US and we can rarely get this brand on sale. When we can its usually not a great amount off the original price - I was just lucky to get the 50% off price. I mainly import them from the UK if the price is reasonable because it can be alot cheaper.

Australia, where everything is marked up several times before we get to it!

^^Really, is this true? Would I make a big mistake to order from Sacoche in Bahrain instead of waiting for US sales?

I think its cheaper to order from Sacoche as their retail prices are lower than US retail. Their service is AMAZING and they put low values for customs.

Bahrain's in the Middle East, not in Europe, so you should be OK.

Having said that, it might still work out cheaper to wait...

Does anyone know - or has anyone seen an authentic version of the Saskia with metalic handles instead of the normal perspex/resin ones??? Did they make these?

Yes, they are available. I've oogled one at NM for the last couple of seasons, and there was one on e-bay that I restrained from buying. The one I saw was brown with studs, large, and metal handles. Sharp bag!! If I ran across a deal, I'd grab it!!

Hi Ladies..I have a question
I purchased a large taupe bag no lock or key. Im thinking of having the hardware redone in silver...I have plenty of silver and brass locks...or i can have the leather dyed on a brass lock that I have.....what do you think?
