Things can get held up in customs for a long time and as far as i understand it there's not too much you can do to find out the status of an item - it will be released when it's released! There's really no rhyme or reason, some things fly through, others get delayed. At least you know it has arrived in the US but it could take up to a month to be sent out. You have 45 days from date of payment to file a Paypal dispute for INR, it is the sellers job to make sure the item is trackable and as such she should have charged more for the special service. However, do try and hold off on a dispute as long as you can, if the parcel still hasn't arrived, file a dispute just before the 45 days is up - you can always cancel it should the bag arrive a bit later. If it doesn't arrive, it will be too late for you to open a claim and you could be out your money. The seller should have insurance (hopefully for her sake) should the bag never turn up. I find it's best to keep in contact with your seller - keep her updated - but i wouldn't be too worried yet. You might want to post on the Ebay forum for further advice.

Thanks sianii!
![]() I'll try to wait patiently for another few weeks. I'll make sure to file a INR dispute before the 45 days. I'm just getting so antsy. I check for updates atleat 10 times a day eventho I know updates are entered only once. I hope she gets here safely. I would be so heartbroken if she gets lost - the packaging shouldn't be too big since she's only a 'BABY'

BTW sianii, who's that guy in your signature? He's a HOTTIE! Is he from one of those Idol (American Idol?) shows? I rarely watch tv.

It can be difficult waiting but hopefully she will arive safe and sound - i'm too impatient myself, if i have to wait longer than a couple of days i'm crawling the walls!
![]() And yeah, he's from American Idol (far better than our X factor) and although i'm not long out of my teens, i really should be past all this swooning over tv people - but i him!

Shivadiva, I vote for the Heloise, I like the colour better, but if the LV Mahina is your holy grail, you should go for it!

it sounds like it could be in customs!? they normally send a letter out telling you you have a package being held!? and you have to pay the fee to get it realesed! can you give them a call and ask them if they have it? |

Someone did tell me that sometimes customs will call or send me a letter if I have to pay any fees to get it released but I haven't received anything yet. GRRR~~~ I guess I'll try to wait it out a few more days/weeks.

Shivadiva - how about putting them both away where you cant see them, wait until the next day, then get them both out. Which one draws your eye and makes your heart beat faster? thats the keeper

Could you stand waiting and then perhaps being able to get two when they are discounted later and using the interim time to save more money? |
