ok i have another suggestion. the reference threads need sorting IMO! i love to search through comparing colours and styles!
some how it needs sorting out as pics have been removed from photobucket and pics are lost in comments!

my suggestion is that maybe it needs starting from scratch? resorting the pics that are already there. i think it need to be threads that you can only post pics and no comments??
also i know there are a couple of new threads for the newer bags but some are missing e.g anoushka and a few others.

just an idea??

I agree - there are a few pics missing. I know I have tons of pics saved onto my PC from when I first found TPF, so if you are ever looking for a particular pic Lescoy, chances are I have it saved to my inspiration folder!

We don't always have enough info or photos of all the styles to have their own thread, but maybe one thread for some styles that don't have their own thread...like the anoushka or the bouduir bag.

bag*mad*bags - I asked a while back what people wanted in the Reference Library - and no-one responded.

However, if you check I've posted here that IMO the Reference Library needs bombed and it does. The Threads are started for Reference and you end up with a whole lot of comments and blah blah. Its no use - its 'lost the plot' and its one of the things which will be changed big time. My intention is to sift right through it all and re-start Threads on the various bags and make it pictures only - HOWEVER, that assumes that girls will actually adhere to that. The other way in which it may have to be done - i.e., if the comments can't be left out - is that photos for Reference are actually sent to me and I'll upload them - that way - the Thread basically stays as a Closed Reference Thread - for Reference - and no-one other than a Mod can add to it. Much like the 'photos required for authentication purposes' Thread.

To go through the Reference Library will take a long time and it will be time consuming. I do have a life - although most of it appears to be spent on here - however, any changes will not happen overnight - its just not possible.

Right now there are so many problems within the Authenticate This Thread - that I'm having to keep an eye on that virtually full time - as well as do other things on the Forum.

Like you - I have 24 hours in one day - so whilst I am in complete agreement about the Reference Library - it isn't going to change overnight.

qwerty234 - Yes - the photos are a PITA. Photos need to have been loaded which don't expire - its stupid to have photos for Reference which may expire in several months time.

I think that most bags can handled a Thread of their own - and TBH it would be useful to have even one or two images of each particular bag - even if its just to show what the bag is like - i.e., what does it look like?

Its a matter of getting it done and then it sorted/changed - unfortunately - its not going to be a one hour job - so you very much need to bear with me on this.

i think we are thinking along the same lines!

if the pics have to be sent to a a mod (yourself) that maybe a added responsibility you could live with out.

if its started from scratch then comments that are made could be deleted?? a bit like the finds threads!??

i think although we could have threads for differnt chloes to show what they look like. its also nice to see the variety of colours and variations.

obviously this isnt going to happen over night and this is a HUGE job, but i think its a good idea

bag*mad*bags - If the only way to stop discussing/comments is to have a Closed Thread - then its how it would have to be. I've deleted some posts in the 'All About Paraty' Thread in the Reference Library and TBH I've rather lost the will to survive - as its become yet another area for superfluous comments to be posted. Yes - we like to say - nice bag blah blah - but in appropriate places. Its all about posting responsibly - and I end up with a Thread with more deleted posts than anything else - and it detracts from the very point of the Thread itself.

The whole area needs to be started from scratch - and because of that - its going to take longer to fix.

The Threads on each style are necessary IMO - however, you obviously didn't understand that I also want to have colours available for girls to see. That is actually ongoing at the moment - and I'm trying to collate colours and particular styles.

Its down to the time it will take - it will happen - but not right away.

As a pointer - on a daily basis I have to check the ATC., any posts which have been made overnight on the Chloe Sub-Forum. Check the Mod Room, any other areas which I'm subscribed to. Deal with innumerable PM's on varying different matters. Every authentication request takes time, and right now I'm trying to get information from Chloe on the huge and horrific malfunctions which they seem to be making in their bag making

Therefore even though I log on in the morning - and don't generally log off until late afternoon/early evening - my time is limited in that I still have a rather large house to run and organise and three kids who still seem to think I'm a taxi service.

Don't think things aren't been attended to - just remember that my time - like yours - isn't solely for use by the Forum - I think if you check you'll find that I spend more time on here than a high propotion of girls

oh yes totally, i dont know how you find time for it all!!!

i think its a good idea, that yes will take time but will be totally worth it!

as with trying to get information from chloe on that terrible matter.... good luck, i would love to know their explanation on this! as would we all i think!

You spend an awful lot of time trying to keep us all in line and keep everything in shape here, and it is a big job, but we are glad you're on top of things!
