^^ Rowe55 - Well, its unfortunately not going ahead - and you can blame the member who reneged on the agreement and also on a couple of others who didn't bother to acknowledge receipt of gifts.

Its not on - its bad manners - and whilst I appreciate its a minority - its leaves a very sour taste.

RAOK's in general - aren't really thought appropriate on the Forum - due - in the past - to some rather weird goings-on. The Gift Exchange in Chloe was run because I felt that the girls here were all 'above board' but unfortunately - it seems not.

In fact RAOK's are now more or less prohibited due to many unfortunate incidents.

I'm not apologising - but explaining the situation - and its not one which I am willing to put either myself or ANY other Chloe girl in.

^^ Sad to hear this, too, Lescoy. It's a shame that some cannot cooperate fully with rules and regulations. It's really a detriment to the girls who just want to have fun and be generous during such a special season.

it's a female tortoise brown tabby - we get her friday! I am hoping she will be affectionate - I love my ragdoll boy - he's great company but doesn't really enjoy cuddling...

daisyrockyrosie - Hi - well a naughty Tortie!!!

Strange - a friend of mine breeds Ragdolls - and hers are super cuddly - in fact Cyril - when he is shown - he just gets on the judges table (which has a large scratch pole) and has a stretch on the pole and then flops over just wanting cuddles - he's really hilarious - as he gets stroppy if the judge stops cuddling him!!

That was kind of what I was expecting from my ragdoll... I'm really hoping the torty tabby persian girl will be a lover

Well, remember - Persians aren't the brightest cats. The Red series though - do have character for sure. Basically - if you play with a Persian- say with a feather toy or something - when they are older - there is a distinct delayed reaction between them looking at the toy and then playing with it - its like it takes a while for the message to get to the brain. There is a Tortie persian being shown - a spayed female - she is beautiful - but she is clearly 'out of it' - and just stares into space - The only reaction you can get is when you shake a packet of dry cat food at her - and then she perks up!! Its really funny.

I think - in truth - that a lot of how the cat ends up - is how its been cared for as a very young kitten - so when you get her - just make sure you give her plenty of cuddles - She may or may not be used to them.

Oh - and prepare yourself for the fireworks when you introduce her into your home!

Thank you for your comments and advice. I'm sure the introduction to our current king puss isn't going to go down well initially - but am hoping they become good friends eventually. He loves to play - so hopefully he'll play nice!

It is sometimes the baby who makes the most noise - they suddenly become this huge fierce Lion!! I'm sure they'll be fine - just take a few days to get used to each other -

Hi Lescoy - kitten was supposed to come tomorrow - but I spoke to the breeder and kitty has had a tummy bug - has been given a dose of antiboitics etc and needs to stay with breeder for another week until it is all cleared up etc... I'm so excited to get her - it's going to feel like a very long week I am sure...

Thats a shame. How old is the baby? Just make sure that after the week that the breeder has her checked by the Vet and that you get a Health Certificate to say she is fine. Don't risk your Ragdoll catching anything
