hey lesley!
i was just thinking (yes, my brain maskes an effort...sometimes) taking into account that dragonette

got some of us hooked of leatherprince's charms (no pun intended) and also some of us are hooked with the JC charms...could we have a thread similar to the one in the bal forum? they have two: one for bals and JC charms and one for bals and any charms.
might not work but...who knows?

^^ Hi - I think that would be feasible. HOWEVER - if I open up Threads I want them kept ON TOPIC - Right now - I've a lot of chat in Reference Threads - now it clearly states in the initial post - by (usually it was Jag or hmwe46) Post photos, details, pricing etc., but keep chat to a minimum - as it detracts from the purpose of the Thread. I've also got another Thread - the 'Come and introduce yourself - newbie one' - now its for new girls to come and tell us about themselves - but it went crazy the other day with a lot of posting - and I've had COMPLAINTS about the content which was posted. Now I know its easy to get OT and ramble on - but we have ONE designated 'Chat' Thread and we do also have the Zimmerframe, which in theory is an 'extra'.

Charms talk is fine - i.e., thats lovely, oh I would love one of those, where did you purchase etc., BUT - if we get OT and start discussing Hugh Jackmans backside or whatever - then I'll assume that the Thread(s) aren't necessary and Close them.

All I want is for you girls to enjoy your Chloe Sub-Forum, but to respect the fact there have to be some Rules. I'm as lenient as I can be - but I really baulk at chat in the Reference Library - i.e., where did you buy it, could I get one blah blah.

Rant over - I'll work with you all you know that - just help me out by not taking advantage -

daisyrockyrosie - Hi there - you know someone else was asking about that in another Thread. I don't actually. As I said at that point - I'm kind of weird (in case you all hadn't noticed) - I've got bags but never use them. I'm one of those people who are kind of private and don't necessarily feel the need to have a Bag Showcase. My Chloe - count 5 - NONE have ever been used. The only piece of Chloe I use is my Heloise wallet - which I use all the time - and is rummaging round in my Mulberry Roxanne along with my Hermes wallet, and the biggest amount of junk you could possibly imagine. All my bags are in their dustbags, in varying different closets/wardrobes My Balenciaga Eggplant Weekender is actually under the bed

Again - NONE of them have ever been used - its pathetic - I really need to sort myself out - and rotate bags - but I never seem to go anywhere interesting - other than Cat Shows - maybe I could use the Weekender as a Cat Carrier

I'm not a photo person - you know I need to get a digital camera. I don't have one. My husband is a great photographer - has his own website - but I'm pretty pathetic. Its being SO OLD

Lescoy - you make me laugh but I am with you! I have a different excuse - 2 young children. When I start switching my bags around I inevitably leave my keys, phone or wallet in the previous bag and have stuff all over the place!

Maria and Scarcici - it IS a jungle out there in the purse forum. The Chloe sub-forum is just a lovely, friendly safe place to land. Such a nice bunch of girls - maybe its got something to do with your personality what brand you are attracted to - maybe someone should undertake a phd in psych and do personality tests on the girls in different subforums and see if we really have different personailty types?

By the way Lescoy - I have my Chloe paddy which I have a love/hate relationship with - love the look, hate the lock - but love it - but hate it - you get the idea. And I have a Bal city raisin on order. If I had of managed to get that little betty too I would have been quite content - except for a small paraty in sand. Oh well, just more fun to come then

But that would have been about the maximum number of bag I could cope with.

i only stray to the JC thread so i haven't seen many dramas...except on the ebay thread! and that was waaay before your post so don't feel bad woody!

I'm disappointed you can't take photos - I'd love to see what you're hiding in your closet, your balenciaga sounds lovely too... I don't know if I could stand having such lovely things and not using them - but do understand wanting to save them...

Do you actually show cats? We have a ragdoll that runs our household... If you do show - I'd be interested to know what breed?

I guess all us Chloe girls will have to chip in this Christmas to fund our Moderator a camera - so she has no excuse

. I was getting quite offended by some posts but I didn't take it personally. I have a feeling one particularly excited contributor may have been my seller....

The funny thing on the Bal and cc front is there has been a lot of activity but no bags!!! Got one and sent it back, won the betty then can't get it posted, was under bidder on another bag but bag might be fake and have made an offer another bag. I'll be in real trouble if they actually all came off at once!!!
