^^ sianii11. OK with regard to the question above. I have spent the past couple of weeks looking at bags from this particular stockist and had varying communications with the company. I can't see any issues with any of the bags which I have checked and had access to.

I'm happy with their sourcing, and with their company policies. The previous issue was in regard to a hangtag and serial/date tag. This issue - i.e., 7ES and then showind and inner serial/datecode of 01-09 was not what we would normally expect. However, when Chloe in Sloane Street were contacted, it was found that their paddingtons all showed the 7ES hangtag and were also showiong the inner datecode above. Now - I've checked some of the tags from this company - and they show 7ES and blah blah. however, above the 7ES it shows 08H - which would lead me to think that it was a winter 2008 bag. Therefore the inner datecode showiong 01-09 is a consecutive season to that - and therefore is perfectly acceptable. I still tend to think that the 7ES codes on hangtags and the inner datecode being for a new season bag - may well be coming from one place of manufacture - but the fact that Chloe in Sloane Street have the exact same gives me confidence to say that it is acceptable and NOT an issue for us as authenticators.

We do still, of course, see hangtags and serial/datecodes as we might expect - but I think that now we have more information on the - what we thought was an anomally - we can be more clear in our thoughts.

The other point which was on a Bay - and handles - in fact this handle fixture/placement has been seen by another member - chloehandbags and she thought it could have been on NAP or maybe NM - so again - whilst it looks weird IMO - it appears to be bona fide.

Suffice to say - I would purchase from this company - and I know that their new season stock is arriving very soon - so I think if any of the girls are looking for something - then its a decent place to shop.

Good to know - thanks for investigating - i've often browsed the site and thought it looked o.k but it's nice to have confirmation. They do often have good prices anyway especially on paddingtons so maybe someone can get a bag they're after! :-)

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure I saw this style somewhere legit (although, I can't, for the life of me, remember where.

), as I remember thinking; 'Oh, that's unusual!', but I don't remember having any feelings of doubt accompanying that feeling of surprise, if you KWIM?

I mentioned NAP, or NM, as posibilities, as they are websites I view bags on, but it could have been elsewhere.

Therefore, although I'm pretty sure it's OK, I wouldn't want to guarantee it 100%, as I could possibly be mistaken, of course.
