Is nubuck material heavy? Does it stain fast? Do you think its an ok to be all year round bag? What are ur thoughts, Marcie lovers?

My wish list bag but iffy on color. The anniversary sale is all about Fall. Which is why I have a love / hate relationship with it.

Love Fall, but can't wear anything until October and unless items are rare/ limited / htf they will end up marked down to 50% or at the Rack. This happened to me last year. Ugh.

Wanted a Marcie in a brown color but not this .., but it's a decent price but not in love with it to justify it.

Anyone getting it?

The anniversary sale will have 4 colors and 3 styles for Marcie. The leather is Nubuck. The Satchel/crossbody(with snap closure) and wallet will be part of the sale. Attached picture sent by my SA

Are we able to somehow get it during the pre sale for card holders on line?

Thank you for this info .. I am now very tempted in the Oak maybe Desert or Onyx if it's very black but Oak/Desert is more me .. but the Marcie is 2 years old right ?

I hate when things are dated by the time I get them but it's more me than the MJ XL Single thats also in the sale but I feel thats more classic -- sigh. I had the gold hardware one but returned it because I wanted silver but the gold HW on the Marcie doesnt bother me because its not so bold.

I also like the wallet and I need one of those and have been looking for eons for one I really like at a good price that will last awhile in style and durability.

I guess I will have to call my SA and make an appt to see these babies in person after all. thanks again for this update I appreciate it! :)

I dont think so. What u see in the pic above are the only style, size that would be on sale.

I have own of of these bags. The nubuck hasn't stained at all (I gave it a heavy spraying with Collonil Nubuck waterstop spray before use) and it's no heavier than my other Marcie (same size) in the black leather. I love the look of it,especially with the contrasting handles and use mine all year round. I think I put some modelling pics on the 'All about Marcie' reference strand when I first bought the bag if you want to check it out.

Yeah I'm iffy on the suede. I'm rough on my bags.. I wish it wasn't suede.
