Does anyone think that it would be redundant to own a Paraty in Old Pink AND a Paraty in Taupe? I realize that they are not THAT similar, but the colors do have similarities and might match similar outfits possibly eliminating the need for one of them. Does anyone have an opinion either way or own one or the other, or both??

The fact is I LOVE them both

despite their similarities, but I'm not sure if I should follow my desire to own both colors. I know I would probably get plenty of wear from both.

Looking for sound (and maybe even

not so sound) advice.....

Fell in love with the Old Pink one this spring and it seemed to be impossible to get the small one here in Europe this time. So I ordered the taupe one from NAP, because I thought this might be o.k. as well but saying the truth I sended it back and looked on for an Old Pink one. Finally found one ans I am so happy with it.
Did you see them both IRL ? They seem much more similar on photos because the Old Pink is so hard to get...to me taupe is more like khaki/olive.
I am thinking about the Pink Beige colour actually and it's the same here...not sure if a completely different colour would be more reasonable for a third Paraty...

I am good at giving a "not sound advice" if you like both colors and you will use them, go for both.
Most of us have many handbags in Black, at least the 2 colors are similar but not the same

Thank you for the advice. Yes it is true - the colors are similar in photos but ultimately are pretty different in person The thing is, I too LOVE old pink. I have had the opportunity to see Old Pink in person only once. It was a large Paraty - but I wanted the small as large is too big for me. The handbag department was darkly-lit in Nordstrom. I wished I could have walked it outside to see how the color looked in daylight. I fell in love with the color but then never saw it again - except in photos online.

I just bought Taupe in small Paraty at Nordstrom instead - they were having an unadvertised one-weekend sale (to compete with Bloomingdale's friends and family sale) so I was able to get Taupe Paraty at 20% off!!. I could not pass it up. I have to say that I love Taupe as well, for different reasons - but can't get Old Pink out of mind.

I'm glad that you have seen both and can tell me they are different. I think I will keep Old Pink on my wish list for my next Paraty bag. Thanks Chloe 75!

Thank you for the advice as well. It's true I love them both and you make a great point that we all have a few black handbags (I sure do), so why not do the same for other similar colors. With that I am keeping Old Pink on my wish list. Although I am not going to run out and get it right away...hopefully it will be my next bag purchase!!

I think I have seen one picture of the Pink Beige but can't remember how similar it is to Old Pink. I remember thinking it was a lovely color. If you have a picture of Pink Beige would you mind posting it? I seem to remember that it was lighter than Old Pink. If that is the case I believe it is a different enough color that would justify getting both - especially if you really love those colors and think you would use both of them, not just one of them.

I can't offer sound advice but I can enable you - IMHO they are quite different colours so it's entirely justifiable to have both!
