Help me choose Black Heloise Satchel or Tan Distressed Patent Leather bay Hobo
Hi ladies,
I am new to the Chloe forum. I have been admiring all these wonderful Chloe bags in silence.  I really need your advice ladies... I don't know to much about Chloe, only know how much I love what I see....  Could u please help me out as I have managed to save $$$ & have decided to indulge on a brand new Chloe beauty.. I am tossing up between a Tan Bay in distressed patent leather, or Black Heloise leather Satchel. I love both bags & would love to purchase them both but my budget wont allow me. Have pre-ordered a few BB...  Do u think the Heloise is lighter in weight than the Bay? I believe the measurements to the bay is 13 x 13 x 4 & the Heloise is 15 x 9 x6.. By the way could u tell me if both bags r made of calf or lambskin? If u were me ladies which one would u choose? Thought I might add, the bag will be carried quiet a lot... I guess both a durable bags....  Thanks in advance ladies, I hope u can help me out.  here is a pic of both bags, just remember the Bay is in Tan not black (couldn't find a pic of the tan) |

I would say in terms of weight, everyone says that's the heaviest Heloise there is. The bay would definately be more all day user friendly. The Heloise often has handle issues.
I'm not sure of the leather of both. I would go for the Bay. Let us know what you decide!

I had a tan bay patent hobo - I was so much in love when I 1st bought it, I even thought that I will never sell the bag.
But I didn't like the leather when it softened and became sort of pebbled (attaching pic) Although I had handle issues with the Heloise my vote goes to Heloise (but please make sure that Chloe boutique will help you if you are one of the unlucky few who will have problems with the handles )

Isn't there a Heloise bigger in size? oooh dear Ladies I was steering towards the Heloise but now I may need to rethink it over.... This is the Bay tan bag, is it pebbled or distressed???? ooh I do like the bay too!!!!! What do u ladies think of her??? Tell me ladies if I go 4 the bay will this leather hold? So can U tell me what happens to the handles of the Heloise? What issue does it carry??? thanks so much ladies 4 opening my eyes. U guys r the experts, I just got to have one of these beauties..... i have the patent bay satchel in taupe and i love it!!!
i've used it a few times and it still does not show any signs of wear! i vote bay! |

I had handle problems with the Heloise (the handles detach) and I don't like how the patent leather of the bay softens - but as I have previously posted I vote Heli
We even have a thread on how to fix the heloise handle (thanks to the lovely DRR) Fixing a heloise handle |

u have been fantastic. It looks like the Bay has most votes by far. I really thought the Heloise would be the favorite. Goes to show how much I need to learn about Chloe... I had no idea about any of these issues. thanks Juda for posting the thread to me My heart says Heloise & my head is saying Bay...

i vote bay! they helis are beautiful bags but have had issues with handles. ive been ok with the two helis i had though!
