So I bought a pair of Chloe sunglasses for $130-ish dollars a few weeks ago and on or around the 10th wearing, THE ARM BROKE OFF! The plastic just broke from around the metal attachment. I'm sorry... but for a pair of sunglasses that retailed at over $200 - that is ridiculous.

Is Gilt legit? or are Chloe sunglasses just not very well made?? Maybe that's why they were on Gilt???

i'm sorry that happened to you! Gilt is legit. i have chloe sunglasses from there that have lasted over 6 months now. i always keep them in their protective case when not wearing them though. you might be able to contact chloe if you still have the authenticity card for a repair.

Oh dear! I'm sorry that happened to you.

I have Chloe sunglasses and i must say they are extremely good quality. I wear them quiet a bit and they still look new. But i do keep them in their case when not using them, and i never put them on my head.

Maybe they were handled roughly during shipping or Gilt failed to inspect the sunglasses properly before shipping.

Gilt is legit, did you contact them to see if you could get a refund, credit note or exchange? Maybe they can send it off to Chloe to get repaired.

But don't be turned off Chloe, they have really lovely items, especially accessories like sunglasses and handbags.
