LOLOLOL... Leslie! I am so sorry, Hon! But, gosh, if ya REALLY did not want to go camping, ya should have just stayed home!

I'm teasing.. but I swear, I WOULD have done that to get out of camping!

Get better. You'll not be pilate-ing for a while w/ a torn rotator cuff. I'm impressed you can TYPE! GET BETTER

It was like that commercial" I've fallen and I can't get up!"
It was a big van, and a long way to the ground. I am usually not such a Klutz!
As long as my arm stays next to my side, it doesn't hurt. I just cannot move it around.
I know, the kids think I planned the whole thing....Hope i do not need surgery.... I did tear it once already but managed to re-hab it back into shape, but it was a weak area....and this hurts 1000x more, not good.
*sigh* makes me feel old, 'taking a fall!'
Yikes! I did cry a good bit today, really feeling sorry for myself ( not usual for me, but getting hurt away from home sucks).....but I am OK now, pain meds are in effect.....
and I am able to see the humor in the situation now, it is kinda funny in a way....!

Lil update on me (I've been so busy I've barely visited and feel terrible about it), I was made redundant, started studying again (while completing working at my old job) and have now been offered a casual job

Plus today I got GLASSES for the first time today. They are just for reading off the board, driving at night etc.

bellacherie, good to hear from you! I have an H that adores camping, I too, hate it! Why sleep in a tent and be uncomfortable if you don't have to be? H is supposed to camp out this weekend! Yay, hope he stays!!!

I am not too comfortable at the moment either, as we are moving apartments and we literally live amongst cardboard boxes. The next two days we will be actually moving and the phone commection will be off until Tuesday... so I'll be offline until then...

Good luck with the move Brigitte - it'll all be worth it once you're settled in again - just make sure your bags are stored safely!

Leslie - oh dear oh dear! To be perfectly honest, if it were me - i would accept the pain to get out of camping, it's really not for me - this way you get to spend even more time on here, albeit a bit lopsided i guess! :-)

OMG, Leslie. I hope your pain is getting better. I am so sorry. So, you are not going camping? How disappointing!!

Maybe your family will plan another camping trip so that you can join them later this summer.

I, too, HATE camping. My DH and 8 year old are going camping next week. My 15 year old and I are staying at home and we plan to eat out in very fine restaurants everyday!!

He HATES camping, too.
