Quick update on my BG city - well, I finally checked it out last night and it seemed a little darker on the bottom where the cola spill was, and it still is like that this morning, but TBH, that might just be the normal colour variation on the bal and I'm fairly confident that my bag survived this time around.

The visions I had in my head though of the cola soaking through to the leather

will give me nightmares for weeks!

Oh, and I won that Chloe on ebay so I've officially bought my first bag of 2009. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I made it 6 weeks without buying a bag though, a small achievement.

which bag was it???? I just got beat on an ebay auction for a chloe ???

i have only just caught up on the last few days on here. My first thought is OMG - the pink bal, but you say its not too bad! Thank goodness. I was having heart failure for you!! And you have a new chloe!! pics pics !!! or link or something...
On another note. Have you ladies seen this. Chloe have brought out a pink paddy. Never thought i'd see it. Its not a bad shade, quite nice, still not for me, but i cant wait to see if someone here gets a pink paddy. Im nick-naming it 'princess paddy' and heres the link.

at this! If I had known there was a pink paddy coming I prob wouldn't have got my pink Bal! It's so pretty and princess like!

I want a princess paddy!

Does mean we will see more people trying to sell those horrible fake pink paddies though

hey, do me a favour and check the bal shopping listing for items on the bay,there's a day going on for usd 200 but it is really battered...is it worth it?

Can you post a link? I had a quick search on ebay but couldn't find the auction. I think if you're willing to put work in and possibly re-dye a bag, then that is a great price, but it will take more time and money to fix up to a condition you're happy with. Could be a great find if you can restore it easily

I've done that unintentionally to another TPFer here before and felt really bad

There wasn't any bidding war for my new bag though so hopefully it wasn't the one you lost out on.

I know! I'm on a serious ban and I finish my job next week, but I had to have it!

I have another job lined up in Feb so I'll just eat toast to save money until then!

i think i preferred the bal in pink than the paddy, i might be biased as when i first started lurking in tpf many of the fake paddys were pink!!!

haha, I wish I could have used that excuse! Unfortunately I've completely changed my opinion of the mini bags and realised that they hold everything I need, so I bought that one as it really does fit my whole life into it. Although maybe not the kitchen sink....

Mini paddies are awesome, you should add one to your wishlist! After you win your bal makeup clutch

so far so good with bal make up thingy...
my wish list is a dior gaucho and a baby paddy.sometimes i think of selling one of my two paddys but i am useless as a seller (and too good as a buyer) and too attached to them although the tobacco paddy was bought because i couldn't find the choc or grenat paddy i wanted! murphy's law came and bit me in the butt after i got it!

It always happens like that - you settle for a bag you like, then the bag you love comes along! In my experience, I buy one I like while waiting on the one I love, then when I see that come around, I buy that too anyway

I really must stop buying bags...

thanks Mica, its from a lovely lady artist, i have found some of her work on the net, Sas Christian. Though i have been wanting to change avartars but just couldnt decide, will see how long this one lasts.

Ditto on the baby paddy wishlist pukasonquo, they are a must, but i want a python Chloe too, and a bottega, and a LV, and a Gucci Indy and it never ends.

I know what you mean about the wishlist - mine is ever growing. Every time I see people modelling bags I think that I have to have it!

I saw bag*mad*bags with her Gucci Indy a while back and I think I'd like one, but at some point in future. Along with a chanel, and another Bal....once I get some more Chloes of course!
