Hello,

I sold an authentic Chloe Heloise Bag (purchased from the discounted Nordstroms). The buyer has contacted me and the serial sticker is not there. I have asked that the buyer look around within the pocket and so forth.

In addition, I recently purchased a Chloe Shelby directly from the regular Nordstrom's on sale. Well, I looked at the authenticity sticker and it easily comes off.

It seems as if Chloe does not safely attach the authenticity stickers like Fendi does or so on. Thank you within advance for any assistance you can provide regarding this matter. best wishes, Becky

Which season was the Heloise from?

The older bags don't have the stickers (and the older bags, still, don't even have the datecode tabs [but that wouldn't be the case with the Heloise]!).

yes only the newer heloises have the hologram, even then they could easily come off as they are not stuck on very well.

Yes, the Chloe's hologram is easy to peel off for any bag not only Heloise. If your buyer doubt about authencity, you can ask her post it on TPF

The stickers are supposed to correspond with the matching sticker on the autheticity chloe card. the bag stickers are not bonded onto the tag very well, as is the case with say a fendi spy hollogram - and a lost sticker would not devalue authenticity - as there are other points to check as well when authenticating...

The hologram sticker isn't on all of the Heloise - it does depend on which season/year - it is only the newer bags.

The hologram sticker itself DOES unfortunately come off - although I had thought that Chloe had improved the stickiness of them.

IMO - the absence of the hologram sticker - for me - would be an issue. Whilst the Registration Card has the sticker of course - there should be the correlating inner sticker. The fact that it is missing - is a question mark. Now - I've already said they do detach - however, I've seen at least 4 or 5 fake bags - which haven't had the hologram inside - and basically the fakers are trying to say that these ones have been 'samples' etc. I've checked with 'buyers' and samples do virtually always have the same detailing as the retail bags - so this for me is a 'grey area'. Lack of hologram sticker inside - would be a question mark for me if it came to the AT Chloe Thread.

I think re the Heloise - if the buyer can advise what the inner datecode reads - then we'd know if it should have the hologram. Also - if you can tell me - did that Heloise come with plastic Registration Card - although if it was bought via Rack sometimes the 'bits and pieces' do go astray. The datecode information would be the best pointer.
