I was speaking to someone on LV and they said they sold theirs on "luxury exchange". I emailed them and they said they charge 30% all in and they also pay for you to ship the bag to them (ie they post a pre paid label to you) something I never heard of before.
They have an online store and a store IRL too. |

Just an FYI - remember buying/selling isn't allowed - so take care when you post and don't refer to any listings you may have or indeed any consignment stores you may eventually choose. Keep yourselves within the Rules - and therefore safe

I too was afraid to list on eBay because of the horror stories I read here on tPF. I set up a booth on Bonanzle and have only sold one small item in over a month! I tried reducing prices, having bonanzas, etc. but I think there are just more sellers than buyers on Bonanzle right now. I really like the Bonanzle site (listings are very easy to create) and its low fees, though.
My plan is to "test the waters" on eBay by selling a few pairs of shoes before I list any bags. The thing that freaks me out the most is the detailed seller feedback ratings. According to some of the girls on the eBay subforum here, if someone gives you 4 stars on any of them, and your average drops to 4.1 (which could easily happen if you don't sell a lot, like me) then they suspend you from selling! Also, I have sold via one of the online consignment stores and have been happy with the service, but the fees definitely do add up. At this point, I don't really mind, because the hassle of selling through eBay is pretty stressful and worth the extra cut the consignment places take. (Just my opinion.) There are local consignment places here in NYC but most of them take a bigger cut than the online ones! |

Careful girls - whilst I appreciate and understand discussion - keep references to your sales to a minimum - Its not often hard to find you on the auction sites -

Sorry - I was trying to keep it very vague. It's kind of difficult! I didn't mean to promote anything - I'm certainly not trying to. I was just relating my problems with trying to avoid eBay.
There is an eBay forum here on tPF, where a lot of girls discuss the issues with selling on eBay, problems & how to address them - it's very helpful if you do decide to go that route. It's here: http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/ |

I have always sold direct to Fashionphile.com. They offer about 60-70% depending on the bag. They also will consign and their cut is even less, but I would just rather get my money up front and move on!!

e-bay is good u can trust on this site, last month my uncle bought car from usa through e-bay. i trust on them
Can I just point out that there are a HUGE number of fakes listed on EBay - and its advised that anyone who sees something they are interested in has it checked out on the Authenticate This Thread before buying. There are WAY more fakes than authentic |
