It says 'The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price'.

When it says that, it means that the seller is now obligated to sell the handbag to the buyer at that price. I have done that a few times to regular buyers when they e-mail me and tell me they love something and that they are bidding. However, I would never do that on a brand new bag from NAP that a lot of people were watching! That was a great bag, and you know more bids would have come in.

I think the buyer must have made an offer which the seller has agreed to... The seller will probably adjust the price and add it to shipping...yes it's avoidance, but it's really her prerogative... she might have gotten a better price had she left the auction run, she might not have... guess she didn't want to take the risk.

I never thought of that. And I would be afraid to do it that way. When I have had a buyer want to purchase at a higher price, and we have agreed to do it, then I end the listing and relist at a BIN at the higher price so that we are both protected in case anything goes wrong. But of course, maybe she was selling to someone she is familiar with, and they are both comfortable with doing it that way. Regardless, that handbag was gorgeous!

Since you're wishing for a Mousse, have you seen this auction?
eBay: 06 Authentic Chloe Paddington Mousse Grey Gray Blue Bag (item 160065311521 end time Dec-29-06 17:16:25 PST)
I asked about its authenticity over on the other thread, and at least one tpf-er thought it was the real thing.

Yes I did see that Beth thanks!! I may have found another though... I got a bit sidetracked by a lovely grenat Paddy, so I was torn between grenat and mousse. But I'm pretty sure I am getting Mousse and then someday later I will get Grenat lol!!!!

Here's a light tan kerala on eBay for 399 opening bid or BIN 499. This seller is legit; I've purchased from her!

hi again,
can anyone recommend a pre loved designer handbags online retailer? seems that eBay is becoming a bit too risky with so many fakes and if it is in good condition i don't mind second hand...
thnx!
