Plexi Paddingtons in the UK

Hi there, I am from the UK and am looking for a paddington with one of the plexi locks, I was planning on ringing around HN, Harrods, Selfridges etc. to see if they had any but wanted to know if anyone had seen any in person. Also do any of the US shops like Saks sell to people from the UK and ship them over? Maybe that would work out cheaper.

They have some with the plexi locks in Choice at Bluewater, but they are not the normal style paddington they are the larger style and I don't really like it.

i saw them in selfridges,london last month...padlocks is really cute..but i do not keen on the leather

Fantastic, didn't realise they did Chloe, will give them a ring tomorrow. Selfridges was a bit empty last week because of the sale so maybe they will restock once all the sale stuff has gone. Saw some of the plexi lock purses in the sale but none of the bags (probably snapped up!). Thanks

Well I got her last night, Sloane Street Chloe. I will post pictures tonight. She was *half price* in the sale! The lady there was so nice as well (long blond straight hair). She went and had a rummage around downstairs to find styles I might like and suggested that I get the white plexi rather than the red one with silver hardware I also had my eye on. No idea what shade it was but it was a deep dark red, new in - she said they had got the stock 2 weeks ago and while it was very rich and every so slightly metallic-y it wasn't metallic like argent. It was gorgeous....I want it too! Anyone guess which shade I am talking about cos I would love to know. Thanks.

So is this boutique actually shipping? If that is so then it opens up a whole new range of possibilties(on bags) for me

I am not getting another one at the moment though but I love the plexi paddingtons. Anyway congrats on your new bag

Unfortunately I will have to save for the red one, after a chanel wallet, bal first in saddle, gucci wallet and makeup bag and prada bow bag in the last two months I think this is my last splurge...not to mention the missoni scarf! Oh dear

luckily OH has no idea about the cost of stuff and in fact once accidentally called Christion Dior - Christine Deer!

HA! This man lives at my house too! If you ordered it from Bass Pro Shop, they'd know exactly how much it costs! Ain't it GREAT! Christine Deer!!

Haha yep anything to do with fishing or cars he would know the exact price, he just knows my special things are expensive and its best not to even ask!

Today's comment of the day was "shall I take this bag upstairs.....wait a minute what the hell have you got in here a brick"!!! (it was just a few bits but the weight of the lock) hee hee. I told him it was good for arm toning!

I have almost the exact same conversation with any guy who spots my paddingtons.

Went out for drinks one night using my paddy wallet as a clutch, and it was passed around the table by the guys in complete confusion as it had a padlock on it that didn't actually lock the wallet, just provided decoration...haha. The girls all loved it though! Poor guys, they just don't get handbags!
